cheers mate thats cheered me up abit, am not having the aircon refilled yet just want to get my supe back on the road and working again

i ve got someone coming over to look at my supe today, the fan belt has broken and the aircon pump has seized, how big of a job is it to replace the aircon pump, i ve got the parts, what do you think is a fair price to fit it

is the funny sound there now you've put a new belt on? Does the lower right (aircon) pulley's outer ring spin freely (when no belt is over it) and does the inner part of the pulley (raised edge to it, rotate with light/firm hand pressure......... If the inner part feels solid ie won't move independantly to the outer ring then the aircon compressor may be seized....... hi, thanks for the info, i ve been and had a look at my car and tried to spin the outer and inter ring like you said with the fan belt off and they both dont move so it looks like your right the aircon pump has seized, can i just replace the pulleys or do i need the hole thing(aircon pump/compressor)

my fan belt has broken and there is a funny sound coming from the second pully down to the right of the engine is that the aircon pump, it moves then stops and when i put the aircon on the fuse blows. is the water pump the one at the top and aircon underneath it can someone help me out please:(

hi could anyone help me out please, i ve just fitted a new genuine toyota rad in my 93 tt japspec auto and every think is ok but when i put the aircon on the fuse blows, am going to have a new fan belt fitted but has anyone got any ideas cheers

got new rad from mr toyota and fitted it yesterday every think back to normal thanks to steve manley how gave me a discount

cheers guys i ve done whant you said and the temp gauge is normal now and not moving and the heaters are getting warmer so these rads bleed them selfs

i ve fitted a new rad on my 93 tt japspec auto a standard toyota one but the car is getting hot and there is alot of pressure i think there is a air lock is there a blee nipple any where or what do i do can some one help me please

hi, its the speed restircter all jap cars are fitted with one before they come over into this country, you can have it removed i think it costs around about £100 to have it done
