is the funny sound there now you've put a new belt on?
Does the lower right (aircon) pulley's outer ring spin freely (when no belt is over it) and does the inner part of the pulley (raised edge to it, rotate with light/firm hand pressure.........
If the inner part feels solid ie won't move independantly to the outer ring then the aircon compressor may be seized.......
hi, thanks for the info, i ve been and had a look at my car and tried to spin the outer and inter ring like you said with the fan belt off and they both dont move so it looks like your right the aircon pump has seized, can i just replace the pulleys or do i need the hole thing(aircon pump/compressor)
