hi all, my gear box has gone on my auto tt supe and i have already got a replacement box so i want to swap them over how big of a job is it, is it quite simple job to do. i ve tryed to search for a thread on here about how to do the swap step by step but cant find anything, can any of you guys who has swap an box over before give me a few pointers thanks

i think they may have gave me the wrong belt because it was very very tight so yes i paid £50 for one from toyota because i wanted the right one and cant be bothered to mess around with cheap ones

what could be wrong with the prop, what have i got to look out for when checking it cheers

i brought a cheap one and my tt supe shreaded it so then i just went out and brought one from toyota and all is good now, so i would say just get one from toyota cant beat oem parts think mine cost me about £50

should i try and change the fluids first to see if it will make a diffrence

i drive the supe down to bognor at the weekend and all was fine down there and back, but tonight when i took the supe out i get a loud clunk sound from the box or diff when the car is changing up gear and it jerks the whole car really bad and its happening all the time constantly. its an auto tt, do you think the box has had its day or the diff or would low level of fluid do this

hi, i ve been trying to find a detail thread on here about changing diff oil & transmission but havent found anything. i want to change the diff oil and trans on the supe but want a guild on how to do because i ve never done it before and want to do it myself how hard is it

not a bad price i would of been interested i would love a 6speed tt but i ve spent alot of money on my tt auto and i ve done alot of work to it and its finialy taking shape so i will be keeping it

i think thats about right 2.5-3k for a 6speed conversion on a auto, i think a good 6speed box would cost you about £1500
