  1. Now sourced went with brand new uk spec set up
  2. Thanks for your input I appreciate. I’m seems to have got worse since changing the fluid and filter. Can you still get replacement clutch packs for the auto box
  3. Yeah done all that, as soon as it first started to slip I changed the fluid, must of done it 2/3 times as I knew something wasn’t right. Test drove it and it did it again 2/3 times so I thought of changing the filter and again test drove it and still doing it. So im trying to figure out if it’s torque converter or gear box and what change next from here. My Supra is a jap spec tt, but I have a spare gear box but it’s from a uk spec car are they the same or different, can I use a uk spec box in a jap spec and will a jap spec torque converter fit a uk spec box?
  4. Hi, I’ve got a slight problem with auto box or torque converter on my tt auto, can anyone advise and help me diagnose what it could be. I’ve got no noises coming for the gearbox and it drives fine driving around normal but when I nail It, it doesn’t hook up just slips and revs right out like a clutch slipping on a manual car. I’ve changed the fluid as it was a bit on the brown side, there was no metal bits in the oil, took it for a test drive and it was still doing it, so I decided to change the filter and do a full oil flush and it’s still the same. Do you think it’s the torque converter needs changing or could it be the gearbox has had it
  5. Thanks for your advice guys appreciated
  6. Auto, covered 70k, no damage fully working
  7. Just wondering how much a uk spec diff with cooler sells for now days
  8. All sorted now, manage to cut down and use a bmw hose looks OEM

  10. Cheers guys that’s great, thanks for the info and list of part numbers makes life easier appreciate it
  11. Hi, I have a coolant leak on my tt auto on the right hand side of the engine, any ideas what coolant pipes run on that side of the engine or has anyone got a diagram available please for coolant system pipe work
  12. I’ve called Yam6 twice now regarding price on callipers and they’ve still haven’t got back to me
  13. Thanks but the condition of the calipers don’t look great
  14. Could you pm me Yam6 contact details please, I need purchase a set of rear calipers, I need price for just jap spec calipers and a price for rear uk spec calipers discs and pads
  15. Ideally jap spec so I can get the supe back on the road quicker and as the discs pads and shoes were only replaced not long ago but I’m not to bother to upgrade to uk if needed to
  16. All sorted, turned out to be the inhibitor switch on the gearbox needed adjustment
  17. Hi, I’m after a set of rear brakes calipers in good working condition
  18. Given the starter motor a few hits, brake lights are working so can’t be brake switch, rocked the supra back and forth, tried starting it up in neutral, moved the gear lever back and forth still nothing. Is there a safety switch on the auto gearbox that could stop it from cranking
  19. I’ve replaced the battery and starter relay/fuse still the same, I have power and lights but won’t crank its dead. Any ideas on what fuses to check
  20. Fuse might makes sense why everything else still working and powers up, I will have to play around with the weekend and let you know how I get on.
  21. No the battery not new but it has held its charge as I’ve had it disconnected while the supra undercover
  22. I’m thinking possibly starter relay has there’s no clicking at all, how can I test this. I’ve also tried starting up in N and D but it’s the same nothing
  23. Having problem starting supra tt auto it won’t turn over or crank seems like it’s dead but it has power, battery is good all lights etc working, also tired jump leads no joy. It’s currently under cover so thought I would air it and start it up, I did this about month ago with no problem started first time now seems dead not even any clicking, any ideas what could be the cause thanks
