  1. No what could it be on the throttle body, is there anything I can check. Now the ecu sorted it might now record an error code fingers crossed
  2. Update, I took the ecu out and found a couple of capacitors had blown / leaked so I sent off the ecu for repair had all the capacitors changed. It has fixed most of the problems, overdrive now working, auto box now back to normal with changing up and down gear and powers back but I still have the overdrive light flashing and slip con light on.
  3. Think srd tuning has a guy they send ecu off to be repaired
  4. I can rule out the odo swapped it over with another one to test to see the overdrive would stop flashing but no change
  5. I did read on here that possibility could be the speedo converter, might be worth a shot changing it, so i thought I’ll check it out, doesn’t look the best installation and unsure what brand was used
  6. It’s got to be something electrical or a sensor I’m guessing
  7. These are the lights showing on the dash when driving, slip control not working and overdrive doesn’t work IMG_8384.mov
  8. Managed to get the display working where the engine lights is, but can’t read any error codes as it’s just flashing constantly without any pauses IMG_8382.mov
  9. Tried checking the error codes with the paper clip trick but seems the engine light display not working
  10. Battery fine, just seems really strange it was all working fine now it’s decided to play up
  11. I had a problem with my auto box where it just kept slipping when putting the power down as the clutch packs had gone so I swapped it over with a uk spec auto box with new filter and oil and also fitted a titan 3200 high stall. Supe drove absolutely fine but I had some lights flashing on the dash. The overdrive and slip con lights are flashing alternately to each over and the main triangle light is very faintly on. Then the overdrive bottom stopped working as in it doesn’t pick up the revs now, the car still drives fine but now it won’t let me put any power down it’s like it’s in some kind of limp mode, seems like an electrical problem, any ideas or do you think the ecu is playing up thanks
  12. Thank you, been trying to find the part number on google but with no joy and when I speak to Toyota there not really much help
  13. Turned out to be the clutch packs in the gearbox slipping it just got worse and happening more often so i swapped the box over and changed the torque converter to a 3200 high stall all sorted now. The sup hooks up a lot quicker, so now seems more responsive, wish I knew high stall would make such a difference in a auto well worth doing
  14. None of the links are working
  15. Hi, can someone help me out please with a part number for this hose or point me in the right direction for an aftermarket hose thanks
  16. Now sourced went with brand new uk spec set up
  17. Thanks for your input I appreciate. I’m seems to have got worse since changing the fluid and filter. Can you still get replacement clutch packs for the auto box
  18. Yeah done all that, as soon as it first started to slip I changed the fluid, must of done it 2/3 times as I knew something wasn’t right. Test drove it and it did it again 2/3 times so I thought of changing the filter and again test drove it and still doing it. So im trying to figure out if it’s torque converter or gear box and what change next from here. My Supra is a jap spec tt, but I have a spare gear box but it’s from a uk spec car are they the same or different, can I use a uk spec box in a jap spec and will a jap spec torque converter fit a uk spec box?
  19. Hi, I’ve got a slight problem with auto box or torque converter on my tt auto, can anyone advise and help me diagnose what it could be. I’ve got no noises coming for the gearbox and it drives fine driving around normal but when I nail It, it doesn’t hook up just slips and revs right out like a clutch slipping on a manual car. I’ve changed the fluid as it was a bit on the brown side, there was no metal bits in the oil, took it for a test drive and it was still doing it, so I decided to change the filter and do a full oil flush and it’s still the same. Do you think it’s the torque converter needs changing or could it be the gearbox has had it
  20. Thanks for your advice guys appreciated
  21. Auto, covered 70k, no damage fully working
  22. Just wondering how much a uk spec diff with cooler sells for now days
