    1995 Toyota Supra N/A

This Supra is stock... for now... Just has Fox RS3 18" alloys, platinum sparks and a standard Toyota body kit as additions... But looking to tart this baby up with a little more dress, a little more sound and a little more power

  3. All the advice and help I have had here from this Supra family, has never let me down and has been honest - so thank you. I'm afraid I'm about to ask a question that I'm sure has been asked time and time again... but I can't find a straight answer from the past threads. I have a N/A. I waited 4 years to get a Supra but this was all I could finally afford. Initially I was fine with the performance - still am - but now and again, I just find it's not 'raw' enough. So.... I was thinking of P/X'ing it for a TT but a friend tells me I can stick a Supercharger in it. I've read the past posts and I think everyone finally agreed that getting a Turbo kit was going to be cheaper than Supercharging it. My N/A is in wicked condition - I love her - and if I could just turn her in to a powerhouse or just get more power in to her, I would prefer to do that. If I am to get a turbo kit for it, who do I turn to in order to get it all sorted? And how much on average will it cost? ... If it's better to P/X for a TT, where/who do guys recommend? If I install quality spark plugs, an Intercooler and better Exhaust system, would this make much difference? Not sure about getting an induction system installed 'cause I have read that the stock one is good enough for up to 500bhp - but I'm not looking that high to be honest. Help.... I'd be tearing my hair out, if I had any LOL
  4. Guys, Your input in greatly appreciated. I'm currently running on BP Ultimate but think I will give V Power a shot... and will def stick to getting a good brand of 10W/40 oil. Thanks again
  5. Hi Guys n Gals. Thank you for all your responses to my last post regarding technical manuals for the mkiv, but I have another couple of questions now.. sorry to be a pain . I have read debates elsewhere regarding which is the best Fuel to use for J Spec Supras, Shell Optimax (V Power) or BP Ultimate, but there was no concrete answer. I know they use 100 RON fuel in Japan which we don't get here, so what do you guys use in yours and why? Also, I checked my Service report and found that this place I bought the Supra from used 10w/40 semi synthetic oil. Being a high performance car, I thought using something like Mobil 1's 0w/40 fully synthetic oil would have been better. Is there a 'best' oil to use? If so, which? If not, then what 'weight' should I be using eg 0w/40, 5w/40, 10w/40 etc??? Oh, now that I have my Supra, I will try to get some pics up asap . Thanks for your help gang
  6. Hi. Didn't think I would have got a reply so quickly... kinda felt like the first day at a new school where everyone already knew each other, except me. Thanks for making me feel welcome

  12. Hi Michael. Checked out the links. They certainly do have useful info... so thank you for you help. The Supra I am hoping to receive tomorrow is a complete stock 1995 SZ Auto in red. To some that may sound a little unusual, but I wanted a stock Supra so that I could customise it the way I wanted, from top to bottom... it'll be my baby. Actually, just remembered... it does already have side skirts and rear spats... they're a little damaged but I am not too fussed as I will eventually be putting on a new kit. There are a few Supras around my area and they are all Black or Silver... so I wanted something that would stand out more. Besides, I will get it all sprayed eventually anyway. You may have guessed with all these 'eventualities' that my baby is going to be a long project... but it's all good... anything to do with Supras is worth doing well, no matter how long it takes
  13. Hey Enola. If you could get me a copy, that would be wicked... would really appreciate it. What does it cover though? I just want to be able to do the simple tasks like change spark plugs, oil etc, basically, almost doing my own service.
  14. Hey folks... Firstly, a very big Hello to you all. I've been a Supra fan for years. I used to own a Mk3 and now I have a Mk4 being delivered this coming Tuesday. I managed to source an Owners Manual but for the life of me, I can't find any sort of Workshop book for the Mk4 that will allow me to work on my car myself. Any ideas? Does such a book exist?
