  1. Nevermind. Found a very decent Aristo front clip for a fair price. Question is now if the ECU is the same as the JDM Supra.
  2. I have a non turbo supra, time to ditch the engine. I would definitely go the VVTi route, but I am afraid of having trouble upgrading (BPU, single, etc..). I live in the states so it would be hard as hell to get help. So you guys are my only hope! After the swap I plan to add the Greddy BCC, AEM TRU boost controller, TTC mod, then save up for a standalone. What would be the best for engine management? AEM or Motec? What kind of downpipe would bolt on to the turbos? infact what kind of turbos do these engines have? are they CT-20a's? with them ceramic blades... Jake - Yes, it looks a lot thinner comparing it with an intake manifold off a standard 2JZ.
  3. I know what are the differences really. Good threads though! Just wondering if I go the VVT-i route will going BPU be easy? Single turbo, etc. I can't seem to find a wiring diagram on the ECU... That smaller intake manifold is also worrying me. Just wanting to hear some opinions. I am lending toward the VVTi , but I don't want to regret it ya know? Thanks
  4. What should i go for...the VVT-i 2JZ-GTE or NON VVT-i 2JZ-GTE? Also tell me why you chose it. Thanks! Be boosting soon
  5. I literally cut the SPD (ecu) wire? shit it's gonna feel so wrong but I heard that before as well. Alright since the brown wire (SPD ECU) goes into SP1 (which is labeled E10 - Pin #2 ) That takes care of that (I think). But now there's the blue wire (SPD sensor) that either goes into (E9 - Pin #3) SP2 - or (E9 - Pin # 23) SP2 + Correct me if I am wrong, thanks for all the help. Have a look on here: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13919&d=1112558155 Check out E10 Pin #2, E9 Pin #3 and E9 Pin #23
  6. BUMP i really need this thing in already. can't believe no body knows.....
  7. Ok there are 3 sensors according to the pin outs, SP1, SP2-, SP2+ There are two wires on this, Speed Signal (ECU) and Speed Signal (Sensor) going in a J-Spec MKIV A/T ECU. Where to?!?! Thanks Mates. edit:http://greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/809.pdf
