thanks people,the wheels are trafficstarz and when you got 365 wide rubber theres not a great deal around,however there still £3500 so they not that crap lol

well that wasnt as bad as i expected lol. the colour is candy blue an really glistens in the sun, to be honest the silver is the undercoat of the blue and really sparkles in the sun, we sprayed the whole car blue and it really needed something to break the colour up. as for the humps lol ,as people know the chargespeed rear wing is outrageous,so we played with a few different spoilers and to be honest car looked best naked,but then resembled an 850 bmw from the rear,so jay[the sprayer] actually made theese from scratch,they are removable so i can take them of but again they look better in real life. thanks for comments guys[an gals]

no i asked for all the bits inc ecu to be fitted and just kind of assumed[if ever the saying assumption is the mother of all fu*k ups applies] it would be included,im not going to name them because although they got no legal responsibility they have agreed to help out.

ive been onto garage and they have agreed to help out so ,if they help alot il name them in a good way ,bottom line it was my cock up,the work they did was perfect its my stupidity that broke it.just venting frustration s,pose

seems a bit harsh to shame them for my mistake ,but if they piss me of in anyshape il inform everyone who they are as there very respected on here i believe.

no i had a replacement engine fitted with all the fancy bits from carl bibbys old chargespeed engine

i know now this is my problem 100 percent and hind sight is a wonderful thing,they didnt charge for remapping,so its tough luck on me .i just feel someone should have mentioned it in case i was as stupid as i turned out to be lol

it must of had a base map cos it was running fine when tootling around,probs didnt occur until got a little power put through it

i can maintain basics i just think that if i would have done that much to someones car i would have either sold them more time to have it done or stressed not to run it until it was done

ok i can accept that it would cost more,but i just feel that even if you was walking out the door ,someone could say, dont run any power until youve been remapped or anything helpful really. we are not all mechanics and i didnr t know it would need remapping ,wrongly or rightly

hi everyone, this question is aimed at traders but anyone can feel free to add their opinion, if someone had paid you to install engine,which you do , youve added hks fuel rail,hks 750 injectors,uprated fuel pump. an almighty great big single turbo all wired up with the hks f,con gold pro ecu.is there anyway in the world youd send that car back to customer without a re-map ,or am i being stupid to expect that to be automatically done. detonation follows in approx 10 miles ????????

hi im looking for some bonnet gas struts,and didnt want to buy from ebay.so i was wondering if anyones got a pair,or some advice if anyones had some and found there crap lol

just had steering rack fitted[last piece to be fitted] and took it for a bit of a blast,runs like a dream, thrust bearings got a little grind but apart from that i was well impressed,turbo screams like a banshee, jays picking up on 22nd to completely do bodywork again ,so should be ready for spring

hi does anyone have any info on the following please. when engine started an in neutral no strange noises at all, but as soon as clutch depressed theres a sort of grinding sound.now ive had quite a few supras,and i remember the first one i had ,had the getrag box that also had a grind to it . i spent a fortune having the thrust bearing changed and the gearbox stripped on that one an it didnt make the slightest difference[never got worse or better] back to this one and although i dont mind spending money solving it [im thinking thrust bearing]but should point out its an os giken triple plate clutch an was wondering if its normal.

i know what you mean about the colour but interiors matching as is engine bay,i am having it a few shades darker but its still gonna be candy apple over silver...if i keep it a while il look to change colour and interior cos i love candy blue from house of kolor,,,,but again thats gonna cost about 6-7 k by the time you do body and interior and il def be shot by missus then lol.

lol the damage was a bit more than i expected but the cars worth it it looks pretty awesome in its broken state so i cant wait for it to be finished,i appreciate the kits def marmite but hey i love it

ive got a lad called jay in wickford doing the body work he usually only does hotrods an his work is amazing ,he works with house of kolor paint all the time,not cheap but def best around here by a long way [in my opinion lol]
