  1. Is your TRAC fuse out Gaz........?
  2. Sorry.....errrrm.....English instead then for Steve......or the same as Steve's but mean't for somewhere else......or........errrrm...........errrrm.......I dunno! Tell you what mate, the cars red. Yours has to be better now.
  3. Yup, also used shower gel at the same time as I got a mate to test them whilst I stood and checked.
  4. I have only heard that it's basically useless. I guess it's never been tested, well not by me. If you've got an EGT gauge you'll be able to tell everybody else. The way it was described to me was it's like pouring a little cup of water on an inferno. I doubt the washer jets could produce anywhere near enough water to do anything anyway.
  5. I've heard although the idea is a reasonably good one (Obviously for cool stuff on the I/C) the differences are virtually bugger all. Still, sounds good doesn't it.
  6. That would be P*SS funny!!! I remember at one stage my wipers went on a car, had to attach a bit of string to them.....a mate then had to pull them long every now and then to wipe the rain from it. Tried the stick head outta window routine.....I was absolutly saoking within minutes and couldn't really see to great either TBH.
  7. Earlier in the thread somebody said 85mph in 6th was 3000rpm. Wasn't sure if it was a J-Spec or a UK but mines a UK and at 3000rpm I'm getting 90mph. Speedo could be a little out I guess...??? Somebody else with a UK car wanna give it a go....??
  8. He hangs his head outta the window. lol :baa:
  9. PMSL!!! That made me smile mate. Well, if you've got it.....flaunt it eh! By god though.....those seats are chilly this time of year.................before I flick the switch.
  10. Oh. Maybe not then.......but with Fords only being the ones to do it for years now I thought that this was the case. I totally agree though with everything you've just said. I miss the heated screen in the Cossie. As you've said, the rear heated jobby isn't so important but I have to back off the drive so initially for me it is. I never scrape cos......well, basically I cant be arsed and de-icer rots your windscreen wipers so I don't use that either. Starting the car and leaving it a few minutes is the best idea I reckon, defrosts the window, makes it nice and warm inside (Leather included if you flick the heated jobbies) and also warms the engine up for driving which has to be the best reason......well, apart from not being able to see obviously.
  11. It's because AFAIK Ford have the copy right type thingy on it.....so they are the only ones who can use it. I used to love it too.....mind you, start the car up for a couple of minutes....go back in the house, stand at the window carefully watching whilst smoking the last fag before driving to work. Defrosts screen while you smoke.....cause, if you don't smoke, you could always have a coffee.
  12. Is that price from Toyota....??
  13. Wouldn't know any near you mate, I live about 100+ miles away. Sorry.
  14. HOLY GOD!!! I hope not! £163 + VAT for a wheel bearing......thats GOT to be taking the p*ss!
  15. Yes mate, you can. Your better to do the whole car though rather than just the back. HTH
  16. I'd be more concerned about getting the car to run right.....or should I say properly. If it goes through SVA pretty much as it is and then gets sent on to owner, it'll only last five minutes!! Especially if they turn up the boost and then start doing WOT runs.
  17. Tell me about it. Mine is starting to squeak.....drive me barmy. Think I'd prefer the knock that the other car used to do!
  18. Yeah, they are all a bit :looney: aren't they. Thats why I love it here!! Feel I fit in! :D
  19. Your kidding!!! Your house/garage will be like a zoo soon mate, pheasant, bat..........what next!!
  20. 'DONT' use vaseline on the rubbers around the doors!!! If you have already take it off. The rubbers around the doors are the same as the MR2's, I remember somebody putting valeline on them for the same problem, fair enough it stopped them sticking but at the same time it rotted the rubbers away! If you go to Halfords they sell a silicone spray (Costs a couple of quid tops) , clean your rubbers and then give them a good soaking with this stuff. You'll not have the problem anymore and your rubbers will stay intact. Lord!!! I gave useful information. Must go and smoke straight away to calm down! HTH
  21. OOpp's. Maybe I was thinking bar then!
  22. About 0.85 from memory......
  23. I taught myself you know.
  24. I work that out at £2350 roughly.....
  25. Yup, deffo time for a boost controller there mate. 1.2bar here you come!!! Might be worth hangin gon til the spring though, it's not like you can use it in this weather anyway! The list of mods you've got is pretty much what I intend to do including the boost controller. I'll stop at that though.....I'm not a 100% power nutter although more than stock is always good! :flame Dev
