18mpg is what I get too, its awful costs a fortune! I'm mostly around town though. I cleaned the O2 sensors in lemon juice but still have the same figure, I'm really not sure whether to splash out on new ones hmmmm

I think Im going to have to get a new central locking control unit and try that , I cant think of anything else it can be. I hate not having it working its doing my head in!

Supra central locking seems very prone to screwing up. Mine will unlock but not lock! Its getting really annoying now and I just cant find the problem

Hi folks Well yesterday my central locking stopped working either with the remote or the button in the car. Checked the fuses and all are ok. Had a look at the cental locking control unit in the passenger footwell and its not clicking at all... took connector on and off and still no clicking. I think I'd be right in saying if the motor was at fault, the control unit would still click as it TRIES to operate the motor? The fact its not clicking at all suggests the control unit is at fault? Any help appreciated , most annoyed !! Rory

Take the steering wheel off and check the spade connector to the block that sits on top of the slip ring.

My car used to do a strange wandering idle from time to time, causing a bit of vibration, but after cleaning the sensors this seems to have gone. Also, my economy went up slightly. Its easy to do so you don't have any excuse not to I rinsed mine off with brake&clutch cleaner.

Glad to see they are finally doing the right thing mate, I bet they will be more careful where they park customers cars in future. At least it will be easy to sell with brand new paint on it, Im sure youll get top money now

Yep just what I was thinking do everything you can to make sure its not driven anywhere! Also I'd leave it in gear ( or park ) with the handbrake off or at least on only the first click or 2 if youre on a relatively flat piece of road, handbrakes stick on so easily.

If I lived down there I'd be VERY tempted by the TT conversion! Every report of their work has been a good one that I've read on here, sounds like a good team

Thats the seats I have, although mine have little stuck on rubber grippy things at the shoulders , maybe a later version or something? Anyway they are superb, really comfy and hold you brilliantly. They are quite narrow though, but thats great for me being a slim jim

I'd fit some knobbly tyres, a locking differential , a low ratio transfer box .... oh wait , you didnt mean that kind of off road

I can hear that telltale chuff chuff on acceleration , and poking ear under bonnet its coming from manifold... hope its just a gasket and not a hole in the manifold. Is this common on supras? Maybe it will give me a chance to buy a sports manifold if they are available

Thing Im always wary about with imports is the mileage , seeing as you have no SH they can just set it whatever they like... I had this in mind when buying mine and bought it mainly on condition and driving quality.

My previous bmw 525 sport was much more tail happy than the supra due to having an LSD ... I really miss having one as its so much more controllable to slide around. The bmw was useless in the snow and the supra has even wider tyres so I dont see it being much of a winter car lol

It was frosty outside this morning here, luckily my car was tucked up cozy and frost free in the garage... and I was tucked up cozy in bed I will be extra careful in winter as I normally am , I dont drive particularly fast anyway.

Im not gonna bother decatting my car, I think the gains on an N/A are so tiny its not worth the hassle. Not to mention mines loud enough already lol
