Yes it does, dunno if its all in my mind, but ... 1. its not as loud as it used to be 2. think i can hear it leaking while accelerating

Hi Guys, Really need some help here ... I have a 98 vvti TT, with a blitz catback, mid pipe and dug out the cat converter with no restrictor ring .... from what I see on various posts, I should get about 1.2 bar with this setup ... well maybe not because I would hit the boost cut first. At first, I would hit the boost cut with absolutely no problems from third gear up However, at present, I am only getting up to .9 bar ... Not certain where to begin with diagnosing this problem ..... I have an HKS SSQV ... the old type (with the screw at the back) fitted .... thinking that this maybe the culprit. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone tried these? how do they compare to bilstein shocks? On a side note, which one of the Bilsteins do you guys normally use on the supras? ... the HDs?

Hi Guys, I am contemplating purchasing the tein basics for my car... are they any good? how do they compare to the super streets? I honestly find the spring rates quite high compared to stock spring rates ... considering I live in the caribbean where the roads aren't the smoothest and the fact that the car is daily driven, besides being damaging to my back .... would the stiffness be damagin in anyway to the car? Also, how do these compare to a set of bilsteins shocks with HKS springs? Would really appreciate any help Thanks

love bilsteins ... had them on a JZA70 supra .... and worked like nothing else !!

Thanks guys, amongst those quoted, by nic, the tein s-tech seems to have the highest spring rate, would this mean that they would keep the car more level around corners?

Thanks alex .... just because of my budget, the eManage Ultimate seems like the best option amost the ECUs ... are there any downsides to using it? Thinking I'm gonna take the car up to 1.2 bar and will see how that feels. If i am still not satisfied, will go with the single setup. Been looking for boost controllers and I actually found the one I like most is the greddy profec e-01 which can be used as an e-manage programmer also , has anyone used this? ... any advice? THanks

Hi, A year back, I bought a 98 VVTi J-Spec, have added an HKS SSQv, Blitz exhaust and downpipe to it since purchasing. Whilst the power is alot, don't think it cuts it for me anymore I am looking to upgrade to about 500-550 crank hp now and looking for advise on the best way to get there. I am doubting that I will ever want to go above these power levels. I would like to keep the car as responsive as possible from low RPMs In your minds, what is the bet way to get there? Singl turbo... or upgrade to steel bladed UK or US spec turbos? What ECU? Standalone or Piggyback? Any advice you would be able to give will be greatly appreciated D
