  1. it only comes on occasionally under heavy braking, bit of a strange one me thinks, checked all the pads an they are fine for wear ,
  2. what is the purpose of the large brake warning light on the dash cluster. its the one thats got a triangle with a ! in the centre of it, does it tell of brake pad wear or is it from the reservoir level sensor
  3. dunno about that mate but if you give premier a shout on ebay they will be able to tell you, i would think they do as there is plenty space in there still with the jap specs on,
  4. i made new end caps from a sheet of 3mm plastic, but the sprayshop is having trouble getting the paint to take to it so i am probably gonna make some from thin steel and cover it with fibreglass or make a couple out of stainless steel plate, i think you can get them from monstermods though, but don't quote me on that mate
  5. i am a mechanic and there is nothing wrong with steam cleaning an engine if you know what you are doing, if you have degreased it properly by hand then you are going to need the pressure to get rid of all the solvent, that said , always wrap major electrics air line dry an wd40 everything when finished, i have done probably around 1000 engines in this manner and have never broken anything electrical or otherwise so give the guy a break, thats my two bobs worth SO THERE
  6. premier alloys supplied them, the same as the other thread thats been running, pretty cheap but they do the business
  7. its to allow you to move the auto shifter without starting the car or having your foot on the brake, it's for maintenance purposes mate
  8. well its been a long time coming 8 weeks for a respray and chargespeed bonnet, an bodykit sorted out, car is in metalflake iceblue on top of baby blue basecoat although you cannot see the metalflake in the photo's, still waiting on spoiler end caps as one of them was knackered, but here ya go anyways. just seats to get done an dash painted an i.ll be about done for the meantime
  9. its got house of colour metalflake in iceblue even although you cannot see it in the pics, looks great when the sun hits the paintwork. this 200kb limit on pics suck
  10. really good wheels, just out the paintshop today as well
  11. yeah mate the offset on these wheels is bang on for a supra, fit like a glove
  12. but with gunmetal grey spokes, top wheel, really good quality
  13. will bend the ear of the guy thats painted it
  14. hi guys, well my car is supposedly coming back from the paintshop on friday after 8 weeks i might add, whats the best way to wash an look after my new paint when it comes, have looked at the thread that was done on car detailing but i am just wondering if it's any different for new fresh paint, ie ' no need to use a clay bar
  15. just changed mines today as car is now metalflake blu, insurance want 178 quid a year for this, Adrian flux can flux right off, will not be renewing with them
  16. yeah the colour is a one off, so i am gettin a couple litre spare just incase, was made by C>A>R>S bodyshop in west lothian, once the car is finished i'll try an get some pics in the sun with my proper camera to show off the metalflakes, they really look good in the sunlight and i would recommend them to anyone, they are the house of color ice blue ones. thanks for the positive comments so far, i know its a bit lairy but you have to be different
  17. they offered to take them out but take no responsibility for them breaking in the process as they are a bxxxxx to fit, so that is why the rear quarters are left in as they are also at gvn and quite a few other bodyshops, the option was mine.
  18. if the little arseholes touch ma car when i get it back i'll cut there fuckin hands off, no respect for a mans property whatsoever the little shitbags
  19. the pics are a bit crappy but i only had my phone camere with me which is a 2 meg crapper nokkia. will post some quality pics once i get the car back from the paintshop, the metal flakes look the total business in the sunlight even though you cant see them in these pics
  20. hi mate , by the time its finished not much shy of 3 grand inc fitting the bonnet which has been a total nightmare for the guys, chargespeed are not the best fitting of the bonnets avail, if you are thinking of getting one re-think unless you want the hassle
  21. well its been in there 6 weeks now, painted this morn at last, baby blue with house of color finegrade metal flakes in iceblue through it, this is hard to see as the pics were taken on mobile phone, chargespeed bonnet still to go on an full rebuild to go now, wonder how long thats gonna take?
  22. playin with the logitech wheel an loving it, slower than the joypad guys but havin ten times more fun
  23. not fittting at the moment as my car is in the paintshop for another week or so, getting a colour change from silver to baby blue metalflake, the material is not shiny, this is due to the flash on my camera reflecting off the material
  24. the pics are a bit crappy i know gonna take some more an post them , its just a pain downsizing them to 200kb, the material is not as shiny as it looks, thats due to the camera flash, anyhow, yes these are the ebay ones an they are made from leatherette, feels quite nice an not tacky at all, i will be fitting them in a couple weeks or so when my car comes back from the sprayshop an will post the finished results then, cheers all
