  1. The sensor went away when i cleared the ECU codes, ill keep starting it a few times see if it comes back, will also check the voltage to the fuel pump tomorrow.
  2. The story goes.. I was out Saturday night car was running fine then while i was out I stopped for a hour to have something to eat and got back to the car and tried to start it and it wouldn't, it was trying but then died, after some fiddling around it started and i drove strait home. The next morning i tried it again and still no joy so i checked for engine codes and got error 12 which was the crankshaft sensor which i have now checked and all seemed ok so i have just cleared the codes and the error has gone. Im thinking the Error code might have have just been another issue I've recorded the sound of it trying to start and im thinking it might just be a flat battery can anyone confirm it would make this noise if it was as just waiting for a friend to come over with some jump leads and try and up the car. If not the battery any other ideas? http://bloodwych.classicgaming.gamespy.com/cartmp/Record001.wav
  3. If redsupraman82 doesnt want it ill take that too Dont suppose you have a fusebox cover?

  5. I dont need this at the moment but am thinking about replacing mine at somepoint due to it looks like its been very butchered at some point Im just wondering how much they go for second hand and it all the connectors are normally ok on them. Also what happens with all the wiring when you go single? (just cut and tap for stuff like the VSV's etc)
  6. Ok so I've checked the cable last night and cant see any issues with it, can anyone explain how i can check the wiring? (i have a multimeter)

  10. Can someone please show me a picture where the crankshaft sensor is located on the TT I have a error 12 on my car and its not starting sounds like its about too then doesnt, was strange was working fine yesterday then last night got home and it wouldnt start again
  11. Kool cheers, will take it off and look at the weekend
  12. Does no one know how these work, do i just need to put 12v up the vsv to make it open?
  13. My VSV is not working for my second actuator, I've checked the turbo by doing the TTC mod and both turbos are fine but i need to find out if its a faulty VSV or a electrical problem, as while working in the area something caused a spark and blow the alternator fuse which is all now sorted but since then the second vsv hasnt worked, im going to try and borrow a friends vsv as its seems to be the easiest way of checking it but is there any way to test the connector to the vsv?
  14. Anyone got one of these for sale or know how much toyota charge, mine looks like its blown. Toyota 85933-14030 i think the part number is writen on it
  15. Yeah the car will run now but I have not really driven it far until i work out what's causing these issues, I replaced the 120A fuse and another 10a fuse under the drivers side foot well.
  16. Can anyone recommend ways of testing why the autobox brake release isnt working when i park
  17. No one got any ideas about this
  18. Well just removed the fuse and reset the ECU but still no joy with getting out of park without pushing the red button, Im sure before when i pushed the brake peddle i could hear the autobox being release which i cant now, anyone know what i should be looking for
  19. Can anyone help me please, I was changing my thermostat and got a spark of something which blow my alternator fuse, I've replaced the fuse now but since then the car wont come out of park without using the red button also the steering seems heaver. I've checked all the fuses under the bonnet and under the drivers side and replaced another blown fuse but has anyone got any ideas what it might be? Do i need to reset the ECU now ive replaced the fuse would that lock it into gear if so whats the easiest way (i think i remember someone saying something about the break peddle 10x?)?
