  4. I bet you it is Also Mr C get your name down for the SRR day again. We can have a chin wag and a fiddle with that IGN table of yours
  5. Not another one. Im 100% sure that Jays was caused by the EGT's that his engine was seeing at the time it went. When they are over 1050c which Jays were, the thinnest part of the blade will start to go through some extreme heat cycles and eventually will just fail, causing bits of the turbine to fall away and cause the results which i saw from abit of weld. Here is a comparison of mine (left) and Jays (right). You can just see from the colour of Jays that some serious heat and lean burns have been through that exhaust housing If yours is almost white Gaz like Jays then i would bet that yours has been through some similar events. If that is the case make sure you get your cylinder head face checked to see it is 100% straight. Ryan
  6. Yh thats fine Charlie. Their main function is to stop any moisture getting to the electrical sensors like the MAP. Ryan

    Keeping cool

I wouldn't bother with the rad unless it becomes a problem or the stock one cracks. As your rad is in good condition and well ducted. p.s the engine management light will come on if the temps go over 100c

    Keeping cool

Would definatly say get an oil cooler for it James if tracking it. Be easy to fit with the doluck bumper as just need to remove the nearside headlight and fit underneith in that bumper pod No need to remove the whole bumper then as TRUST me its a pain!! to get back on.
  9. When Jay let me drive it yesterday was lovely
  10. Hey David Dont forget this run was done in 5th gear so the midrange will be slighty different to the spreadsheet i sent you as they were all done in 4th but it wont be far off as look how soon it makes full boost in this log on a 4th gear pull. You can see how well the boost control works also in target mode when setup right. Its all smooth Ryan

    cannot wait

    Hope you ment Manifold Matthew
  12. Got there in the end. I look forward to seeing how you get on with traction as Andy's place but with the powerbar you should be fine. You can see on the curve where it was still slipping slightly in that 5th run When doing it on Andy Dyno dynamics you will need to do it in 4th As they are rated to alot lower mph than a dastek. But im sure it will be fine with the DD strapping system. Ryan
  13. Could you help build this? as i have no idea how to do the above LOL Just if you could get it to a stage where i could input the data Ryan
  14. Howdy Ok need some help with a webpage im trying to make. Basically at the moment i have this Turbo spec comparison graph (http://www.zen85016.zen.co.uk/turbocomp/turbocomp1.JPG) for all different types of turbos at Surrey rolling road. Now i have alot more Specs to add which will make the graph alot more useful as it will have cars with more similar specs. Ie a T61 plot and a t61 plot with cams. BUT the problem i have at the moment is that if i add all the data the graph is going to become even harder to read. So what i am wanting to do is have a background of say just a empty dyno plot and then have the ability for users to tick which plots they want to view and it then just displays them insteed of having all the other plots. Ie. A user just wants to view say a T67 at 1.4bar and a T67 at 1.4bar and cams to see how the curve changes. Can anyone help with this or suggest any way of adding this to a site as i feel it would be a great feature for the club. Thanks Ryan
  15. Really looking forward to this Event. I will add all the results to the SRR Dyno comparison graph but it will be different soon so that it will not just show every plot, making it look even more confusing. It will allow you to choose only the plots you want to see. So you could view say t61,t67,t51 all with similar specs and the other ones will be blank. Ryan
  16. This any good Rich, last on the page. http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/lambda_sensors.php You could drill out the thread and is stainless Ryan
  17. I know a few mr2 owners that would be interested espically Toyotagt as they do ALOT of work with them.
  18. On the Mr2's i highly recommend these over any intercooler system due to the placement of the engine but they do not use the system linked above. One key element with water to air intercoolers in making sure there is enough water in the system. Only downside is with more water becomes more weight. Im not sure it would be better than an intercooler on a 2jzgte though due to the length between the core and the radiator would be very small and feel the charge heat would overwelm the water temp. You would need to play around with the water pump speeds to get the perfect setup. Too fast - the water travels too fast through the radiator and its does not cool the water but the water does not become to heat soaked by the core. Too slow - The water will cool alot more in the rad but then the water will heat up alot more as the charge temps cook it. Ryan.
  19. John, you mention that it has been running wastegate pressure. Before you go turning the boost up are you sure its mapped for more boost? Anyway see below

    Thanks to Ryan

No problem mate I much prefer the noise of the car now. I find some screamer pipes ruin the original, sexy straight six sound. Do think it was a wise move and found the car alot more plesant today with out having ringing ears on the way home
  21. Sorry dont have any spare at mo
