  1. It wont work chap as the Motec will be controlling the ignition timing and fueling not the standard ecu. So as their is no trigger to pull the ignition timing it wont pull it.
  2. I wish it could CJ but i looked at this with Dave and there is no output to trigger the shift retard function so over time it will just kill the box with all the torque on the changes. Ryan
  3. If you want to go standalone then an AEM is needed for an Auto. Muffleman@AFR and Michel Lane both sell these at great prices
  4. The way i map them is upload one of my base maps and then tweak using the correction table. Doing it this way also keeps other parts of the map happy like o2 correction Ryan
  5. Glad to hear that you guys got the dyno working well and that the input I gave apparently helped regarding the tacho input. I heard a few dyno dynamics owners were baffled by it at first and even Mike was abit shocked. But you live and learn. One thing that baffles me though is why Andy you do not do all the mapping at Miami GT and get Dimitri across as I thought you had been mapping for a far time? Do you do the runs in Shoot 6F also? Be interesting to see the Graphs though as your setup should be very similar to SRR. Good work on Fish’s car though, I was wanting to map his car as it had big potential but im sure he is happy. Ryan
  6. Tucky40 was after one of these Terry. But if he doesn't i may take it as always have people wanting these Ryan
  7. Toyo R888's - 2 x 235/40/18 Only £170 2mm Down on tread and ready for track action Ryan
  8. Brought this a while ago for my Supra to use the Aem gauge display and for quick and easy tweaking. Fully touch screen 500MHz Intel® Celeron™ processor 8.4" SVGA TFT Color LCD 256MB SDRAM 6GB hard drive, Ultra ATA, shock-mounted USB Port PCMCIA Port Licensed Windows® 2000 Professional It is only 244mm x 160mm x 28mm and runs the AEMPro software, FC datalogit software, Motec ecu manager. Ryan
  9. Then if that does not work. Pop an Oscilloscope on each injector outputs and make sure that it is not missing a sync when you problem occurs. Same with the Ignition outputs after Ryan
  10. No, the aem sends out the signal to the injector and this is what is logged. With regards your problem which i have been asked about already i would suggest putting on a new map again before the problem occured. I have encounted a similar issue and it was a corruption in the checksums of the map. Ryan
  11. Ok.... Just had a look at the new LC1 Manual and it seems i am abit out of touch with the new gauges as they use a serial connection not just a 0-5v output like the old ones use too. So the terminator plug HAS to be in the IN port of the LC-1 for it to send data by itself to the XD-16. If you don't have one at all, the terminator plug just shorts the left and right of the stereo plug together (shorting the two isolated wires together. The ground wire with shielding and no insulation should be left unconnected). So if you have an old set of head phones you could make a terminator using the male plug. Sorry about the confusion Ryan
  12. It will still Function without. Just make sure you power up the unit without the wideband sensor plugged in and then after 20 sec power off. Then plug the sensor in and power on again. It will then do a heater calibration on the sensor and a free air calibration. After 30-60 seconds it should be done. Ryan
  13. I cant go that cheap for you Mich... Someone local has shown an interest but if not i will pm you again as you might need these with your new turbo's
  14. Daryl's was using the stock ecu but running more boost. Charlie commented last night that Daryls was the highest hp BPU supra he has seen on a stock ecu. Maybe Daryls had some sneaking hybrids Ryan
  15. Yours were Hybrids Graham and running 1.4bar so not really a comparison
  16. When its all back together Gaz Give me a shout and we can road check the map with the new box. Is gunna be fun at 1.4bar
  17. This is interesting.... Here is a print of Daryls old TT setup @1.2bar, Done at SRR http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1565801&postcount=44 Over laid below onto last nights graph at SRR Specs Blue line is TTC 1.1bar Gold line is Seq 1.2bar Dotted line is the torque Both stock Engines and with Side mounts Ryan
  18. Thanks for posting them James Will add them to my other supra plots ready for the dyno compare application i have someone working on for my wersite. I have to say i honestly think this is the most power you will get out of a TT system safely. I could of obviously gained abit more from leaning out the AFR abit but the EGT's then become an issue as i found. Running the slighty richer mixture though enabled me to squeze in another couple of degrees. Going in this car last night reminded me of how quick a well setup TT car be. Espically with 440fltb of torque Ryan
  19. Can you recommend anywhere else that would be safer then?
  20. I tried out my Fuji on my Kit car yesterday before mapping . Gave a good quality image and sound just need to find a way too mount it now Only give 6mins though
  21. People staying saturday night see here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1834822#post1834822

I expect Wes, B'have and a few other will be staying here also. Is only 9 miles away for Marham and has a restaurant next door. Not sure on friday night yet as im thinking of travelling early saturday morning to beat the traffic. Ryan
  23. This is the way Toyota do it P.s I know this is not the same TB but its the same principle
