  2. The sensors will give out different voltages. I normally find the sensor at the back is the noisey one. Trickyricky has one of those KS3 things but i still feel it needs more testing to see if when i hear knock it actually registers it. I have tried their new knock tuning box thing for listening through the headphones and wasn't that impressed compared to my knockbox. Safe cracking I have seen the software now and tbh its just like a powerfc screen setup. Stay with your setup for the time being......
  3. Done something similar with another brand of ECU, You can even set it up so that you have a compensation for different air temps based on a IAT correction Inj factor. Best to have it in a closed loop setup though.
  4. Pins 9B and 10B will do it fine Kev I will sort it for you
  5. Mike Scoping the voltage will be hard with a multimeter chap as ideally you will need the time scale to be around 500 ms. Also you need to have the Positive terminal on the voltage generated pin and the Negative on the ground ref. An oscilloscope is really needed to monitor the sensor properly. Next time im up your way i will bring my Picoscope and will be able to help you more. Also might be able to connect to your ecu
  6. Yup GM 3bar map sensor and a GM MAT sensor Take a pic of how the ecu is wired in mate as i will be able to tell you how easy it is going to be converting back

    BEC Project

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/492975.htm This is VERY cheap espically with an R1 engine Owning a BEC myself i can only recommend this as i dont have space at present for another Ryan
  8. Blimey this is abit old, Anyway the Standard airbox was just too restrictive so replaced it with a K&N filter. Car made 566bhp @1.3bar but never got time to use it and was just loosing money sat in the garage so Sold it to Jazzy on here. The End
  9. Rob Just put the screws in the centre of the Tps adjustment gaps as you have an Aem and can calibrate the TPS through the ECU. I will tell you how to do this when setting up the base map. For owners that dont have a TPS though you need to follow the below http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=51981&highlight=throttle+tps
  10. I know which one i would take to work everyday
  11. I was tempted by this car as does look lovely and would certainly go when finished but it worries me that it has been running 1.1bar on stock fueling.... I can see a wideband in the downpipe but can the owner comment on what AFR's it runs over 5k on wards as if the turbo are efficient as they seem on paper then i would say it would be running very lean and with the stock ignition map is a reciepe for disaster. Give me a shout though if its still around in 3 weeks time and i will make you an offer based on Compression test results and leakdown results. Ryan
  12. Im waiting for my Brother to sort the 2 VNT turbo's he has on his supra. Cant wait to map it. Love stuff thats different I think HKS are releasing some bigger units soon as well

Cars looks lovely mate See you have gone back to the Powerfc now then, is it still on my map at 32psi? Ryan
  14. LEAVE COIL 4 ALONE ................ LS10 is the Low side ground to Illuminate the ecu check light. When this Illuminates, the main dash Triangle also does as it is in series. The cat temp light also does the same function as well as most of the other warning lights on the higher dash panel. The way i would do the shift light is wire pin 5A which is the cat temp light to either LS8, LS9 or LS11 which are spare. Then go to Options - Configure outputs Select the output you want from the OUTPUT drop down list and then program when you want that LS to go to ground by setting the parameters in the Basic Activation settings. For the Rad fan you can do it the same as above using another LS to switch the relay or use the Rad Fan setup. Ryan
  15. Enjoy chap, There is abit more to come when the front knock sensor gets replaced as it stopped me enabling the knock control due to the constant interference it was showing at the ecu. Not having this enabled means that i havn't pushed the timing to its full potential as had to take into account for any crap fuel or fueling issues. Ryan
