  1. Yh sure mate but wont be for a while yet
  2. S6 now arrived for my Mr2 Track car. Now need to order the Race2 Dash
  3. Not at the moment mate but hopefully next year we will have it driving an auto box properly Ryan
  4. Another bonus of the ecu is that you dont need to clutter the whole dash with gauges now. As the Solaris units can drive any sensor directly as well as K-Type's (no amp needed) So in the event of an unwanted parameter it will enable limp home mode. But i will also be keeping an eye on things through a dash2 which is fully supported on my new track toy. Is also alot cheaper than a complete defi setup http://www.race-technology.com/dash2_2_31.html
  5. Bingo as well as the use of a Clutch switch. The ecu will also know which gear you are in based on speed and rpm.
  6. Well you're car will be the test dummy
  7. I had nothing to do with the brand name so cant comment on that sorry Simon. Yup 4 outputs would go but there is still enough to run all the systems of a supra, steppers motors are fully support and fully working on Wesleys car. It also works using P+I for fully closed loop Ryan Keep them coming
  8. The software really comes alive when you are connected. Mapping one of these is not for the faint hearted If you are interested i can send you some logs so you can see the full potential of the logging software. SView Ryan
  9. Yes but im sure it can be made to work with a manual with a few tricks
  10. Yup but has double the amount of input and outputs for more sensor etc and comes in an armoured case Ryan
  11. Got another Mr2 to track prepare. This is how it looks inside at the moment
  12. Pulled this little gem out of my new car Comes with remotes and all wiring Not sure what its worth so pop me a Pm with an offer and im sure something can be sorted Thanks Ryan
  13. The MoTeC unit has a good hardware setup but I feel the software lacks even compared to an AEM. Like no Knock control, Large changes cause the unit to reset due to memory allocation designs, Map Cut has a 1SEC delay as standard! which can be the difference between 1.4bar and 2bar of boost. (This is terrible), No ability to be able to change the map through graphical view. Interpolation tasks are basic… and many more which make them hard to work with. Now take the list of things I mentioned above with the S6 - Full active knock control or knock and retard ability. - Large changes are instant due to connection speeds and memory allocation setups. - Map cut severity can be changed to cut from 0-100% and works in milliseconds - Full graphic view support for any tables and ability to alter cells through image. - Full Math’s support and interpolation changes based on x and y angles. Extra Features - Full Traction control which is miles ahead of RLTC or Motec, Uses steering angle or Lateral G based sensor against road speed of each wheel to measure slip. Then retards timing to compensate. But in retarding timing it watch’s EGT levels and compensates for that if goes above preset. Levels of slip can then be changed in the cabin through Cal switch - Full DBW support with added blip features on changing down etc - Full VVTI control - Internal Datalogging (which you don’t have to pay extra for lol) - Full Closed loop feedback with sensor failure sensing. Can use NTK or LSU4 - Sensor failure or other parameters will causes limp home mode - Full nitrous or water injection table Couple of reasons the car will feel smoother and more responsive is due to the hardware on the unit. The asynchronous pulses of fuel react quicker with the S6 and having the ability to have more cells also creates a smoother car. I could go on for days but best to ask the questions and I will do my best to answer them all. Screenshots can be seen on the website below http://www.solaris-ecs.co.uk/software.php P.S Wesley mentioned that I found this unit easier to map than the motec. The reason for this is just down to a better GUI but by no means is this easy to setup. When you have looked at the software you will understand This is why Solaris will only allow certain people to sell and map them. Ryan
  14. Hey Mate If you click on Fuel on the toolbar and then T Fuel it will bring up the fuel table which will also show a PARAMETERS window on the left. On the engine load parameters what are you seeing? To select the correct map sensor you need to go to SETUP - SENSORS - MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR - MAP SENSOR WIZARD Then select Toyota ALL is you have the stock map sensor or 3.5bar if you have the aem 3.5 sensor. But its not that easy to make it driveable as need to make sure the correct battery offsets are set for the injectors then the microset bit was correct. So what i would suggest if pop me a pm with full spec abs and will sort you a map to get to me at the dyno. Ryan
  15. Jay's is being measured in the turbo exhaust housing not the manifold guys.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2020462&postcount=6
  16. Have you ever measured the difference's though when the sensor is placed 4" from the exhaust port and then inside the turbine housing of a turbo EGT sensors should be always be placed 3-6 inches from the exhaust port on the hottest known cylinder. With the 2jzgte No 6. Taking readings from anywhere else is just pointless. Ryan
  17. Yes i will do them now for owners, as done enough on friend cars to feel comfortable with them plus IMHO had to look into them as i feel they are the best for Auto's. Ryan
  18. Was nice to meet you Lee and great work with the build on yours and Supradibbs. If you provide the right money i will not allow Wayne's T78 to take your spot on the SRR dyno wall. Ryan
  19. You just made me spit out my breakfast !

    Blackwidow Supra

You have a short memory ! At 1.4bar they were around 91% hence why i lowered the boost to 1.3bar and said when you have sorted the intake temps out i will then have another look at the car to get the torque levels back. When the air is cooler it gains pressure quicker and as boost is created earlier as well as it being denser it will produce more torque and bhp lower down. As i have said Rome was not built in a day so sort the list of things i stated and next time dont turn up with the fuel light on so i can have abit more time on the dyno or with 95ron like on your first mapping session Ryan
