  1. Never put it up against a BPU supra but i would expect it to be beaten in a straight line.... but In a corner im sure it would be a different story Ryan
  2. Pics below, any questions pop me a PM (please not Dash2 display is now removed as below)
  3. Decided to start a big winter project which unfortunately won’t be involving my Mr2. So here it is for sale. The car handles like no other mr2 I have been in and that’s over about 150 now. Just feels so stable and solid which made me want it when I first saw it. The Car has only done 43,000 and has MOT and Tax to Jan 09. Fully compression tested while the pic’s were taken this morning to produce a perfect 10bar across all cylinders which is supported by a great dyno sheet where the car produces 300bhp and 285ftlb at 1.1bar. Spec: Engine Rev3 Turbo Engine Apexi air filter Fujitsumo Titanium exhaust (very light and only 94db) St205 Chargecooler Bosch water pump Walbro fuel pump Chassis and exterior Fully setup Geo by Wheels in Motion Full Cusco roll cage including padding Tein Superstreet Coilovers Adjustable top mounts Ez Camber bolts Cusco front and rear ARB’s Poly bush kit Poly engine mounts Flared arches Toms side skirts Phoenix power wing mirrors Bonnet pins Lightened engine cover Interior Fully stripped Cabin (but have all parts if new owner wanted to put some back) Lightened Dash and panel replaced with Carbon Wideband Fuel gauge Switches for Front fans and Fog lights Fuel pump override Momo wheel Cobra Seats with 4 point harness Electric heated screen (needs wiring in but screen never mists up anyway) Brakes Stock Rev3 setup Toyota Discs Carbotech pads Works brilliant Wheels and Tyres Stock Rev3 alloys R888 tyres all round (brand new) Now I’m sure I have missed some of the other mods on the car but recommend anyone interested to come and see the car as not only is it a great colour it goes rather well with hardly any weight in it. As I’m after a quick sale - £3000
  4. Close to the hub you will get interference but depends how far away it is really from it. Could also if really worried wrap the joint in tinfoil
  5. Right have booked in the diary to go look at a car next sat
  6. Will the plasma cutter fit in my Mr2 Fear not i will be needing your handy work with the exhaust and removing of the glass when its ready p.s you still got that spare auto diff as i feel that will be ideal with the setup im aiming for
  7. After the wiring comes out of the strut tunnel it goes to unshielded wire so you should be alright if you repair it nicely Daryl. But if you are worried about it you can borrow my Scope to check the signal sometime. Ryan
  8. I'll take it Si if its still available. Let me know what you want Ryan
  9. Hi Ian Yh used Charlie’s map as a base and it helped lots with the scaling you used as really enables you to get the fueling at that point spot on. Having the use of the dyno also helped as could load cell hold it at the points it liked to go lean and then trim the fueling to suit. Have done about 6 EMU’s now and they are easily the best piggyback unit available, having looked at others like the map ecu 2 it does really come into it’s own being able to trim the fueling without affecting the airflow which changes timing as well as fueling. Yh the power tailing off also surprised me as well with the 264 cams at first, adding timing at the top didn’t change it as well. When viewing the road speed vs tractive effort you could see it wasn't gaining any speed at this point so was like the Autobox was getting ready to change and creating a soft limiter. Dont forget the rpm is most likely wrong as we couldn't hold it in gear to teach the rpm without the manual mode. Might be the TC slipping also. After this we decided to leave it there as worried about the box. Still worry about the fueling changing about abit with the EMU on boost which is why I also like to keep them abit richer and luckily lui’s prefered that. But have to say you can get the fueling pretty linear with the EMU as you can see on the prints. Good to see you around though pal Ryan
  10. Yh Battery will go in boot etc but will be making a whole new loom for the car anyway as the stock loom weighs quite abit. Perspex and carbon will be used in places yes Ryan
  11. Too nice to rip to piece's Tbh i can see autotrader and Ebay being my friend for the car im after.
  12. Strip, strip and abit more. Not talking about just removing stuff like heater etc either, the angle grinder will be in full working order I wonder if it would be possible to get a supra down to 1250kg Will more than likely sell the MR2 and use the money then to grab a T67dbb, 650cc injectors, Bosch 044, Solaris and a RPS clutch Would like 550bhp and it down to 1250kg but i recon its going to be hard work with the weight. Ryan
  13. Hi All Looking at making a come back to the supra fold and really going to town to see how much weight can come out of a supra. Looking for any Cheap 6sp TT. Doesn't matter if its damaged bodywork wise at all. Let me know Ryan - 07812786303
  14. Well its going to be an earlier night tonight.... have officially lost my voice answering every questions of Lui's ..... But it was worth it seeing his face when he put his foot down the first time and lifted off straight away But was a good day, every car went well and was nice to have a car that was trouble free mechnically on the dyno and didn't need any fiddling. Good work ToyotaGT! The power and torque curves at the top end of the graphs lui has are spot on, but as Lui's manual mode on the gearbox was playing up we couldn't start the run at say 2000 rpm which ment the run started higher, in turn effecting the torque lower down as the rpm scaling gets affected. The car made 485ftlb higher up so would say it was easily around 510ftlb lower down as this thing spools faster than the stock twin Decided to stop at 1.25bar as wanted to keep the power at a level where it wasn't going to ruin the box 50 miles down the road but its enough for Lui Also decided to keep the AFR's in the low 11's due to the EGT's getting abit hotter in the 4th gear pulls with the PHR cast manifold and the engine seemed to like the richer mixture. Quote of the day "How do i switch it into low mode" Ryan
  15. Bry Check pin at the ecu, IGSW - A1 has 12v when Ign is on. If it does then check pin M-Rel - A24 has 12v. I expect Pin IGSW is loose on the connector. Also chap as Tony said you really need to sort that fuel pump wiring. I didn't relise it had been done like that. Ryan
  16. Small world Wasn't my car though
  17. Looking forward to a sound clip of it in action, The stock Atlantic engine at 10k sounds awesome enough. Funny enough im in talks with someone at present about converting their Atlantic engine to run Seq Ign and FI at present. He is going to be using the Solaris S4c. Not sure if we will be doing it at AER or Swindon race engines yet. Which ever has a cradle for the engine already i expect. Ryan
  18. http://www.solaris-ecs.co.uk/s8c.php You could use your M800 funds and have some money left for christmas Plus it will be brand new and have full next day replacement warranty....... S6 is the way to go soon for all VVTI owners though. This month i will be fitting one to VVTI supra and setting up as a P&P setup with full DBW, VVTI, Traction control, Lambda control, Closed loop boost control and knock control for under £2000 It just cant be beaten IMO Ryan
  19. The car is running slighty more boost now at the top end where it makes peak power. Before was running 1.3bar at 6k and now its 1.4bar at 6k. But this is the limit of the wastegate now as the closed loop PID boost control is really ramping the duty up to get it to hold that at the top end. That said cars do seems to make more power and torque on the Solaris units as you can just run so much more timing with the fueling be so precise. Once you have got the fueling close with the course option you can then tweak it with the Fine options. The only cars i have seen produce an AFR curve like this at SRR, is with an S6. When i get back from Spain on the 4th of November i will be working on getting the PNP S6 sorted including one for the VVTI's. IMHO you just cant get anything better or even close to the Solaris S6 for the price. The PNP S6 for the supra will be £1199+vat and by the time you have spent all the money on an EMU, Harness's, fitting and then a RLTC it would still be cheaper to get an S6.. The Solaris forum is also now active and for anyone wanting to learn abit more about Ecu funtions or have any questions etc then its the place to go. http://www.solaris-ecs.co.uk/forum/index.php Plus all the software etc is available for Downloading now. I will be adding some log files up soon also for people to see the logging capabities it offers too Ryan
  20. That was UK-Rich's car Doubt you will see a cleaner car mate
  21. Still cant believe you have it Steve! Probably one of the nicest cars on the forum.
