  1. I normally find on the 2jzgte that 1.5bar is the "sweet spot" in terms of power, torque and knock resistance. Power wise i would expect around 600- 650bhp and 450- 480ftlb at 1.5bar with the stock rpm limit.. but its hard to say as many factors can change things. What Ignitor and coils will you be running as you might run into Ignition problems running wasted spark with the Link G4. Will be interesting to see how the Link G4 also copes with the siemen injectors as i normally find you need a peak and hold injection system to control them well around Idle. I think you might struggle with them espically as you will have to run batch injection as well with the G4. Ryan

    Which ECU

Although the Plug and Play units are in motion they wont be fully released to around March at best guess. The Solaris units at present can only be used on a Manual car but again they will be looking into the auto box controls later next year. There are other ecus out there which can control the auto boxes but i have not seen one yet that controls it perfectly. You can fit a 2 way switch to flick between the maps or you can have a 8 position cal switch which allows you to flick through up to 4 maps and much more like rev limit reduction, traction spin targets etc

    Which ECU

Yes you will be alright to run the engine with a single attached up to atmospheric pressure on the stock ecu and injectors.

    Which ECU

  5. Other bits to check: Is the Ignitor grounded well? Check with a multimeter When the missfire happens does the rev counter go abit crazy i.e jump around 1k as this normally points at a Crank sensor issue. My bet is on the coil pack pins though.
  6. When you changed the coil pack connectors did you close up the connectors on the pins. 9/10 this is the problem i find with missfires. Ryan
  7. Anyone got one kicking around spare Merry christmas Ryan
  8. Have 3.30pm penciled in at SRR for you mate on the 29th if you are available Ryan
  9. Nothing at present I cant see it being a problem though with the vents in the windows, but if it is then will let you know how we fix it. Alot of the race car i work with dont have any fans systems and they dont seem to have problems but we will see.
  10. That gap will be fine with the MM sensor. Just ensure you run the shielding all the way back to the ecu where it can grounded. Wasn't sure which Motec you had for the skyline again as some of the Earlier MoTecs didn't have the P&H drivers. They will work fine with the motec. If you need the Battery dead times for the siemens give me a shout through e-mail Ryan
  11. Its yours, but would be easier to collect if im honest mate as weighs a fair bit. Give us a shout about it tomorrow.
  12. Yes but the cage will be an issue with present plans unless it can be tested after its all fitted
  13. Lovely job Chris Looks like you got the gap about right too. What size is the gap and what will you be revving too? as will be able to give you a size to aim for. Also you will need to be careful with those siemens injectors. I have found some of the siemen units to need Peak & Hold drivers in order to control them well around idle or anything under 2% duty. But shouldn't be a problem with the Motec Injector outputs. Ryan
  14. All depends how good it is Interesting about Snetterton, but it is a track more suited to big power cars You must be the better driver though
  15. Hoping to have the car ready for around march so come april i would hope all the niggles are sorted and then will see what it can do. Will be giving the car to a few racing drivers i know at first though to get as much input as possiable. Having gone with a Gt35R and 264cams it will be interesting to see how the two cars differ in times with the different setups. I must admit though your car is very nice looking and would be horriable to cut up. Why not buy a cheap shell and put your engine in it though
  16. Hi Paul Yh really looking forward to weighing it when its all done, as alot of stuff which i havn't listed here has come off and it all weighs something. How much did you get your RX7 to in the end? With regards the pedal box i will be going with a hanging unit that can match the 'swing' of the stock unit. There is a reason which Chris told me why but he would need to answer that, as im not the best at chassis and braking setups. Hence why i will be giving the car to him for fully setting up. You need to start stripping that car of yours. I would also love to see a T51 attached to your motor as i feel with the 3.4 it could be brilliant on the track. I reckon you should wind the boost up see what it will do for the press and then downsize the turbo for time attack. Ryan p.s not sure if you saw the GB on the lexan stuff. Would any of your Time attack supra need some stuff
  17. Small Update Yesterday Tony and I removed all the brake system including all the pedals. Some of the stuff removed below, couldn't believe how much the servo and the ABS unit weighed. Another 18kg lost Pedals and other bits were only 5kg
  18. I understand some of the these parts are needed for the Auto - Manual conversion. Not sure what they are worth so make me an offer is all i can suggest.
  19. Will answer that when i have done one with stock cams
