  1. If Steve's isn't under 1400kg i cant see me getting any where near 1200kg's
  2. http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk/
  3. Possible use the original or make up a custom one... The stock might look out of place though
  4. Not 100% but still think im going to try the OBP kit as seem well reviewed in the kit car world. http://www2.obp.uk.net/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_52_88_93_94&products_id=233&osCsid=c2f14bfa45534350fd7ab31ed3b65896
  5. 1337kg with no driver, half tank of fuel
  6. An Auto diff will be going on my Track Supra because... 1. The ratio is better suited to most UK tracks 2. It weighs less than the Manual Diff
  7. The Map sensor signal wire is one of the most important wires on the car! It should be soldered and heatshrinked or properly crimped. Ryan
  8. Excellent news Lyndon, give us a shout if you want a hand with any testing. Good to also see you are happy with your new job and that life is treating you good. Ryan
  9. Hoping to have done around March. Will give it a shakedown at brunters first mate as you only pay for the time you use. So if im fixing, tweaking things it works out better. IIRC its £50 an hour for everything which is a bargain. You should come along. p.s when you going to sort that karting event
  10. We think a like. Measured the height of the lobe at 44.32mm and then the base circle at 36.18 on No:1 Cam. So 44.32 - 36.18 = 8.14mm *runs off to check Jspec cam lifts*
  11. I think the same but my picture memory is not the best
  12. In my opionion Yes but as they sometimes produce another 5bhp more than a car with a stock ecu people love them.
  13. It would be hard to say on how it would react tbh on the fueling front as the 550 injectors are low impendance compared the 440cc being high so the deadtimes/lag times will be different which could cause the fueling to be too rich with the top secret ecu and some 440's. Either way dont do it and just get an emanage ultimate. Have seen loads of Blitz and Tom's ecu equipped car on the dyno and you can hear some of them knocking outside of the car where they run too much timing for our fuel. Ryan
  14. A friend sent me down a set of cams which he was sold as HKS 256 cams a while back but after viewing them today im not so sure they are HKS units but Stock. I have attached some pics. Can anyone else comfirm? There are no duration markings on the end of the cam and the Hex turning part of the cams are in the stock location as well compared to them being near the end on the HKS units. Here are some pics of HKS units i found on here
  15. If you get stuck give us a shout as i come up to Scotland about every other month. Gruggs has a good dyno contact which i used last time with Supratoy's car and worked really well as was near glasgow airport Ryan
  16. It spooled so damn fast it was hard to load cell hold the engine at the point as any slight movement on the pedal and it was then 1.3bar
  17. The Bmw MTF LT-2 is exactly the same as the v160 oil. I used on my old 6sp 2 years ago as its still going strong. IIRC its £24.99 a litre but its good for up to 10 years Ryan
  18. Thanks for the kind words chap Was an interesting night trying to get the AFR's perfect like you can with a standalones but that change over point on the stock ecu where it cuts the fuel is a PITA to get out with the EMU. Normally load cell holding allows me to get it but with the way your turbo spooled it was difficult to say the least! On Lui's car i could get rid of it but yours was not having it, even though the Injector duty out on the logs was smooth and the fact it didn't effect the curve at all. On the road you never see it as the kick down puts the rpm in the areas past the Seq change point. Ryan
  19. What coils and Ignitor will you be using though as you wont need the DLI if you are using a "dump" ignitor. Will you be mapping it yourself? As i think you are going to struggle with the injectors and acceleration enrichment as well with the Big intake and batch injection. No point you reving it that high as the VE with the cams you have will be dropping by 7500rpm and the power will tail off im sure. Ryan
  20. One was the europeans fastest MR2 after mapping it to 755WHP and 555ftlb. Think that was 2nd gear. The other was in a Dax rush cosworth turbo at 2bar of boost in 4th gear And also thinking about it in another mr2 which is about 700HP outside SRR. Funny enough this felt the quickest, as the car was all over the place and didn't feel safe at all. I have had to grab the screen many times with Jamiep but that was from Lateral G Ryan
  21. A Fast car for me is anything that has over 300bhp/per tonne. A Very fast car for me is something that closes my laptop screen in anything above 2nd gear (happened twice)
  22. Ryan.G

    Which ECU

Pop me an e-mail at [email protected] and i will sort some quotes for you. Ryan
