  1. Its an amusing ad isn't it But could be good fun if done properly
  2. All depends on fitment issues of the sump but hopefully about a ft The stock prop will just be modified.
  3. Yes the engine is going to be moved back to help the weight distribution i would like in the supra.
  4. Black pair of wing mirrors Of a jspec supra £30?
  5. Todays work The day started with getting the fuel tank removed and all the lines from under the car as alot of welding is about to start. Myself and Steve then moved on to getting the diff out as this going to be replaced also. After this the fun started and the air hack saw was brought out again to remove the bulkhead and some of the floor ready for the engine move. As the car is not on the Jig just yet we only removed the bits needed to ensure no main chassis strength was removed. Sleigh anyone? The floor and the bulk head came to 25kgs! Im sure the alu sheeting and T45 wont come anywhere near that. After doing this i ended the day by removing the rear glass and the boot lid ready for weight reduction mods tomorrow. Rear glass weighed 10kg Also weighed the steering column which we will be replacing and this came to 15kg! More to come tomorrow Ryan
  6. Vipec = Link Ecu The V88 is just a G4 extreme Take the board out and remove the vipec sticker I wouldn't bother as i find the PID control on the links to be just be too slow espically with the closed loop boost. The knock control is the most basic system i have seen and never works right unless a bosch sensor is used. And it will need the software sorting before it will control the DBW on the supra as it uses a clutch system. Ryan

    Blackwidow Supra

Must admit im not a fan of venting the breather back into the intake also. Any light oil vapour into the intake system will actually lower the octane level of the mixture. The 3sgte is a good one for this as they always have abit of oil vapour out of the breather and for this Toyota actually fitted a small catch can on the later revisions. On the earlier ones i always find you can get abit more power out of them by removing the breather input into the intake. Ryan
  8. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mg-metro-turbo-6r4-replica-evotro-4wd-turbo_W0QQitemZ180317452001QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item180317452001&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
  9. This thread is about sequentials though The tech in the aftermarket performance market is definatly available already now just its alot of money to buy the VTG turbos and then make everything up. If someone does it though i will map it and set it up for free Ryan
  10. I ended up giving them to friend who will be using them for something abit more special in the future
  11. It will need alot more than just 2 PWM outputs.. Will also need an Ems which can: - Support dual pressure input signals, for both the turbo's - Dual closed loops control maps to ensure the turbo pressures are the same no matter what the throttle, engine loading and for when the vanes clog up, which they do! - Then i expect you will have to still fit a external wastegate as exhaust flow will be different to what the turbos are designed for, so thats another closed loop wastegate map. - Like the Porsche you will have to i expect run Closed loop Lambda control as well with the VTG turbos. To do this properly you will need an Ecu which has fail safes for this also. Only one ecu i know could do this properly IMO, Solaris
  12. It was welded on at the ends and then the rest of it was attached with a tough rubber sealant. I have a 6point chromoly cage which weighs about 11kg and then i will be getting it welded in and tagged to the chassis. Then we will be welding on the other bars for the doors etc.
  13. A side bar will be incorporated into the cage.
  14. No problem Chris. You have my number now if you get stuck p.s let us know when you get the Ohlins
  15. You sure you havn't wound the scales back abit for that feel good factor Daryl p.s did it have the speaker in etc
  16. Is a good point to make!. If ever doing this modification you must ensure you have a side protection part of the cage.
  17. Would say the supra doors with everything inside are around 45kg
  18. Think the glass weighed about 3.5kg each side. Not sure on the weights of the carbon doors but think you should be able to save the same amount i have.
  19. Today i decided it was time to beat this flu thing and get cracking, so headed over to Gledo's and started removing everything else inside the car and on the underside so that the floor and bulkhead could be removed ready for the engine move. Notice how high the car is now without hardly anything inside and no engine!! As the Jig is not free at the moment we cracked on with saving some weight on the doors. Without the glass, electrics, window runners etc in they came in at 23kg each. A few tweaks later and both doors only weigh 10kg's each...Another 26Kg's saved Ryan
  20. Hi I have the following. Plastic trim that runs down drivers door towards pedals Black front and rear mats Boot foam and the board that lies across it Stock air box All of this is in the garage where you collected the wheels from and i will be around at weekend Ryan
  21. Have both the passenger and drivers door glass available in mint condition as well as all the motors etc Also all the rubber door seals from both the driver and passenger side. Not sure how much any of it is worth but make me an offer Ryan
  22. Had it this week. First thing that has knocked me back for about 8 yrs. 3 days i couldn't get out of bed. Not nice
  23. Could do but i sometimes find the throttle pedal abit too close for my liking and my big feet
