  4. I heard that he dropped them now for Vipec
  5. Mine is of a 93 Jspec tt, Say £50 for it alone
  6. Just the fronts gary but looks like they havn't been used as the pads have more depth to them than a toyota set i have here also
  7. Just the front pads Not sure how much these are worth so make me an offer. Came spare with the car. Ryan
  8. I have a fan and shroud spare. £60 for both
  9. If anyone has any parts of the UK brakes setup please let me know. Ryan
  10. Was planning on going cast but unfortunatly i dont think it will allow the turbo to fit nicely in the engines current position. Steve had the XS one spare and as the head was going off to be worked on i thought i might as well just get the company to extrude honed the manifold. Ryan
  11. Tbh Paul i dont think they would make them that much lighter. The left over weight is in the frame now. The outside skin weighs hardly anything now.
  12. Hope the pics answer your questions Daryl. With regards the sparks... removable parts of the bulkhead etc will be done to access the rear parts of the engine Right im off to bed lol
  13. It will probably be better tbh as the bulkhead will designed so that there will be more room around the back of the engine and with the new flooring we could design it to pull the heat away with a vacuum effect. Plus when you see the new intercooler design etc you will see how alot of heat will be pulled out of the engine Ryan
  14. Hi Tony Sorry about earlier was in the middle of holding a gearbox (your see why in my track car thread). Didn't relise you had this problem though chap. What i would suggest is first seeing if the ecu has power ie can you connect to it. If you can check the map sensor reading it should be 100kpa or near too. My guess is resistor pack or map sensor wiring. Did it try to fire at all or just dead? Ryan
  15. Right what a busy day! Today Steve, stuart, wes and myself test fitted the engine into a couple of position to find the best suited mounting point. Finding the right point ment that the sump had to miss the lower subframe and the crank pulley missed the steering rack... After an hour of trial and error we finally found the point which worked best. This is before using the stock mounts This is using the new mounts Steve cracked on straight away with making up some quick engine mounts which would hold the engine. We then ensured the engine was centered and made up a temporary gearbox mount using some pipe to ensure that with the gearbox would line up with the diff and the prop was straight. An hour later we finally had the position of the engine sorted and fixed everything in place ready for some permanent mounts to be made on the engine. The gearbox we cant make a permanent mount for just yet as the rest of the floor is coming out and then a t45 frame will be made for the floor and the gearbox tunnel. While everything was solid we also cut the prop to the right length so it could be sent of to be properly welded and balanced. Its abit long now Here is everything mocked up The scuttle was also cut out to make taking the engine out easier and will also be made removable when all done for easy access when changing the plugs etc. Im away mapping now for the next week but hopefully will be back on the car next weekend. Enjoy

The exhaust is very very quiet, on the dyno you could hardly hear the exhaust tone in the car. Also the car wouldn't take any timing and liked the fueling to be richer to combat high EGT and knock. Im 100% sure it is the exhaust as have done many cars with this type of exhaust and none of them make great power due to the flow restriction. The best exhausts i have found for Power and torque are the 4" systems. An example is Homers old car, when it had the BL 4" system it made 544bhp and 500ftlb. After the new owner put a smaller quiet exhaust (not sure on brand) i could only find around 500bhp and 480ftlb at the same boost. The only quiet exhaust which doesn't seem to have flow problems IMO is the tanabe medilion
  17. The passenger and I will be back with it also helping the weight bias. This is another reason the floor has come out as we are going to be moving the seats back etc. So new steering column and pedal box also Ryan
  18. Not heard of Geoff but certainly looks like he has some awesome projects. Will look out for some of the cars tomorrow and maybe say Hi. He is spot on about the Life racing/Solaris systems, they are leaps ahead of Motec and others now. Had to map a motec the other day which seriously got on my nerves after using the Life/Solaris software lots recently as its such a better setup for a mapper unlike the Motec software. Plus you make a big change on the Motec and the thing pretty much crashes... My offer with the Solaris and your Zeus still stands. Im sure if you spoke nicely to Solaris they might lend you an ecu for a season also in return for abit of advertising When we setup my suspension i will show you the Solaris software in action and its features and im sure you will be swayed Ryan
  19. Today i removed some weight from the rear hatch The rear hatch without the glass weighs 16kg after removing the extra 2 skin layers we got it down to 6kg The rear hatch will be fixed to the car with 4 bonnet pins, the bonnet will be done the same way. When all the work is done we will be going back to all the cut bits and tidying them up ready for spraying. Im hoping that when the lexan and pins are all fitted the hatch comes under 10kg. Before it weighed 26kg with the glass fitted. Also removed all the wiring loom from the front as this will be replaced. The car is ready now for fitting the engine back in and fabricating all the new mounts. Back to work tomorrow at Autosport show but hoping i will be back on the car this saturday. Ryan
