  1. That runway brings some nice memories up . Did you see the fresh sheet of tarmac where they used to do skid pan testing Should of rang chap as its only 4 miles from mine. Ryan
  2. It does yes.. but the area it does it is part of the whole adjustable casing and it weighs alot so had to go
  3. Thanks John I finally bit the bullet and ordered a safety column from the USA from Woodwardsteering. Not cheap but if it can save my life it will be worth it
  4. I would send it back to the person who cleaned them and see is there ultrasonic cleaner helps.
  5. Hi All Im after abit of help. I am extending the steering column on my track car and looking to add a collapsible section so in the event of an accident i dont get a steering wheel moulded to me. What im after is like a telescopic section like some OEM cars have. Ie a splined shaft which fits inside a splined tube and is adjustable by like 6" +. Be nice if i could get hold of some splined bar and splined tube which i could add to my current shaft. Can anyone help with sourcing some splined bar with Tube or know of any cars which have a collapsible section which i could try and use. Ryan
  6. Connect the injector to a good power source like straight to a battery and see if it causes the injectors to come unjammed. Sounds like the pinacle is stuck open. A quick tap might help... It does with Sard injectors
  7. Right update time The exhaust System is now nearly finished and all welded up as well as the wastegate is fully fitted to the manifold. Just need to vent the wastegate back into the exhaust and job done on that side of things. Test fitted my Uk brakes to make sure they cleared my wheels and luckily they did Put the lexan rear window in to see what the fit was like and its spot on!! Finally got to do a job i have been waiting for a while and that was mock up and then fit the v mount setup for the Rad and Intercooler. Managed to get an intercooler which met my needs in the design but was only a 2 row but due to the size of it im sure it will be perfect with the Gt35R espically in a V mount setup. Also grabbed a 200sx Radiator which worked in the size we wanted. Here is a pic of them being mocked up Got Steve to welded up a few brackets and we made up some rubber mounting for the intercooler and Rad to sit on. Then mocked up some piping... Then i got my Alu skills back into action and made up a custom scoop for the vmount setup to ensure it works its best and is totally sealed After a few cuts here and there it fitted well Next job is to finish off the Steering column. Its half way there but i want to fit a collaspable joint in the system for extra safety. One good thing though is i reckon we saved about 20kg by loosing the stock column is weighs loads.
  8. Yh you can come get it from Autotec if you want and look at the car then also
  9. Yours will be fine as you can send a 12v or better a gnd signal output from the S6. P.S have you paid for it yet
  10. But.... When using an Aem which Tony has it provides a constant 12v down the FPC wire which normally makes the fuel pump ecu provide 12v to the pump when ever a Rpm is seen. In Tony cause he uses the 12v feed to switch the relay.... Now the stock ecu IIRC provides a pulsated variable voltage output to tell the fuel pump ecu which voltage it should supply to the pump. Im not sure how a relay is going to deal with the output from the stock ecu.. Only way to find out though is try
  11. You would only need a Map sensor and DLi A Wideband would be a good idea also
  12. Guy who brought it has got a Bargain IMO
  13. Looks loads better in the flesh!! Easily IMO one of the best supras in Europe now
  14. I have about 8 Daryl so will bring one with me for Robs car
  15. Yes The ecu will work with a Jspec or UK TT. Non vvti To work with a UK a few sensors are needed. Map and Mat Ryan
  16. Your need an air compressor chap that really holds about 20l minimum You will hear a leak straight away with this. I carry a compressor with me everywhere now as its surprising how many cars have boost leaks Ryan
  17. Need a stock supra throttle cable from a TT Anyone have one spare after going for bigger manifolds etc Please PM Ryan
  18. I have another spare 2jz head coming and a 3sgte which could be cut up for the right price
