Bit of an Update As i was planning on fitting some Whifbitz downpipes to the GTR i also added a set of Whifbitz 1000cc GTR Injectors to keep the injector duties within safe levels after the VE of the engine has been unleashed with the last cats removed by the downpipes. Not confuse anyone it has been tuned to stage2ish But lc4 is the launch program which is in the 2011 gtr's. Ecutek and Cobb have decoded the stock tcm Ecu on the 2011 and have added it so it can be uploaded to any gtr tcm Ecu from 2007+ but the better news is it is now fully adjustable in a new beta ecutek code. So launch at any any rpm if you have the parts to do it is possible.

The Cobb is a good product but its just the way the UK tuners do them. E-mailing maps to try and then if they do get a custom tune its road mapped!. God knows how they setup the Cam timing on the ecu or ignition timing! No wonder my stage 1/2 results are on same level as there stage4!! Seems im the one only way to where det cans also! Relaying purely on the stock system is unbelievable as i found the stock system not to do anything a few times when i heard a ping of det. The Syvecs will be a massive wake up call to the scene! Yeah on the Ecutek/Cobb you can switch maps, change boost etc all on the steering wheels. Would suggest getting a standard spec unless the car has had a proper custom map done as most Cobb have just downloaded maps!!! All Ecuteks are custom tunes Mine is a MY09 as would rather spend less on the 09/10 and then tune than buy a new one If your down south give us a shout and you can have a go. Ryan

No sensors needed just wires into the ecu with 4 wires. All data is sent via CAN bus to the display

Hi Chris I have not weighed mine but book figure is around 1700kg, but you dont feel all the weight when corning. Yup S8 will be advertised as a package for GTR's You mean use a Pot for variable control. Yes you can use this if wanted but its better to have the rotary switch with locking positions so that you know exactly what setting you are in. Will test it out on the strip soon when i have popular launch control with retard. Dont get me wrong it launches like a rocket now but will need more on strip. With mine being stock ride height it went on the ramps easy but if lowered like yours it would be a pain As Jurgen has Said it is the best car i have driven to date all round. Being able to do 60 in under 3 seconds, 190+ top speed, corner like my old kit car, used to its full in the wet but then use to go to the shops with its massive boot makes it all an round winner. Plus i hate to say it i love it having auto gearbox control as an option for when you feeling lazy. Only downside for me is just how big they are when it comes to parking! It seems everyone that goes in mine wants one! Whiffin has one now and 2 of my mates are selling there other cars for one. Can't believe I still have this shell. Mint condition black manual shell resprayed on 8 monthes ago with everything bar front bumper, spoiler, side pods and carpet. Has new brakes and yellow bilsteins all round! For £1000!!!

Popped over to whifbitz to try there new Race Y Pipe, Nice saving on the weight also. So Still running the standard exhaust system wih just a Race y pipe and 76mm intake kit i got this late last night. Still only running 1.1bar dropping to 1bar. Kept the peak torque/cylinder pressues down to preserve stock rods. Next Whifbitz Downpipes and ID1000's Ryan
