  2. Rover 416i 87K Taxed Just flew through an MOT Few chips and dents but apart from that a great car. Only other thing i can see needing replacing soon is the clutch. Pm me if interested Nice and healthy as still makes the manufacture power quoted http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a346/Fletchy/?action=view&current=DSCF0226.jpg £750
  3. Forget to say VHT wrinkle paint looks awesome on the cam covers. Will get a full pic when i get the center part of Wesley
  4. They were second hand yes. They are PE 650cc Thats not my home address dont worry
  5. I always prefer to run one big pump as if one fails then you know about it but with a Y section its not so bad as if a pump fails then the other pump still provides fuel just it will go abit leaner which the Solaris will spot by looking at the onboard lambda and try to compensate. If it cant reach the target lambda and it goes out of the compensation max values then it will flag an error. But i would see in a log that the ecu was trying to compensate too much if one pump had failed. I only would run closed loop lambda on the Solaris ecu though as with the NTK sensor it uses the ecu is able to detech a sensor failure. No Supra with a Solaris has this turned on at present as only one is using a Solaris Wideband sensor Ryan
  6. Hey chap Yeah got both of them now thanks. Was going to go for a Bosch but got the 2 walbros for a good price
  7. Engine is getting somewhere now. Have machined down a thread on the stock water oil exchange bolt to be able to mate my oil cooler take off. Also modifed the fuel tank hanger for 2 walbro which go into a Y piece and then a -8line to the front. Then comes up to the filter and goes into a Y again to provide fuel to both ends of the rail. Fitted the PE 650cc injectors also Finally made up all the lines for the turbo and fitted it all. Injector flow results, Thanks to AFR for this
  8. Decided to block up the rear water takeoff and also made a plate to blank off the pipes that go from the water pump.
  9. Would definatly suggest getting a walbro to replace that 14+ old pump. Stock injectors should be fine at only 7psi Stay off boost for the time being though!!
  10. It goes back into the Blue/White wire which is a Stock VSV pin. This goes to pin 60B on the ecu which is the boost solenoid output from the AEM. I do it this way as it saves running extra wires through. Normally do it so it uses the 12v from the black/red wire on the next pin which is on the same blue connector. Ryan
  11. Im everywhere But over in wales about once a month at mo. In gloucester the most at the moment which isn't far from you Ryan
  12. Im in wales on friday mapping 2 cars if you are still stuck by then chap Ryan

  14. forgot to add, i also have the flange for the 4 bolt down pipe outlet
  15. Havn't looked into it enough chap but are you sure that feed from the pump is a return.? Have basically cut the pipe in half and removed in the intake side of things Ryan
  16. Yeah tried to ring you earlier about some engine questions but found the answers in the 2jzgte manual after a while. Was about the flow of the water to the head. Was toying with removing the pipe which comes of the water pump housing and goes round the back of the block. Im not using any of the water parts round the intake any longer and wanted to see what you thought about blocking up the water feed on the back of the head which normally goes to the heater system. Decided to run a feed to it in the end as the more cooling i can get to the back pf the engine i reckon the better. Ryan
  17. Guys the brakes are not for sale. Does anyone on here read threads any more LOLOL
  18. The AFR you see is a collective from all 6 cylinders so you wont see if one is lean. 6 EGT probes will show you though or a set of det cans Also the way you have the Fuel piping i would get redone as if one pump fails its good bye another engine
  19. I wouldn't just relay on what you are seeing on the knock logs chap. A set of det cans should always be used!! Looks like a dodgy injector to me though. What injectors do you have? I would get a new set of injectors and flow test and clean them Ryan
  20. Was an interesting day... All i can say is it was a damn long day. Left Oxford at 3.30am and got home today at 2am. Day started well with sorting all the electrics on the car and starting a fresh map to sort starting issues etc. Then decided it was time to head over to the dyno and started road mapping. Got to 1bar and it was going nicely. So turned up the boost abit more only to find we were having fuel flow issues. Injector duty was low at 60% so wasn't a small injector issue this was more fuel pressure related. When we got to the dyno i started looking at the fuel pump install and firstly saw the wires were way to small and the 12v feed was not fused. So added a relay into the works and a fused live from the battery and i was happy. In the back of my mind there was still a pump down though so decided that we should take out the hanger and flow test the pumps.... Upon removing the hanger i saw something which was out of this world. Good old Turbofit had used silicon hose instead of fuel hose and surprise suprise the fuel had eaten through it and was causing fuel to spray all over the wiring!!!. In a not sealed tank this could have been extremely dangerous. After fixing we managed to get the boost up to 1.6bar and it was a flying machine. Couldn't get a dyno run though due to issues with speed sensors on the dyno I really feel for anyone who has been abused by TF.
