  1. Thanks for the kind words chris. We put the servo in the passenger footwell out of the way. Propshaft was colled and properly welded and set by steve. It's seems perfect no vibration in the car at all and watching it in the air it's straight at 6k in 4th will be in touch regarding the geo setup Ryan
  2. Back from testing! Straight line speed is just incredible and it just grips so well. Doesn't feel as mad as you would think in the car but when we put it next to a 700bhp supra is really shows just how fast it is Corners wise we need to play with the geo abit more as it wasn't as balance as expected but the surface was so slippy from dust it was like driving on ice in some parts. Intial turn in is just brilliant, far better than a stock engine position but the back is abit of a hand full compared to stock as when it goes it acts like a pendulum at the back with the extra weight and becomes a challenge! This can all be sorted with the geo though. Christened the car with its first small dent but lucky i know a damn good bodyshop Got to sort my Race license then we will be off for some testing at silverstone soon. No vids unfortunatly but pictures are below This is at about 60mph and it just turns in so well
  3. :D :D Full Wet Weight!! with 1/4 tank of fuel Need to set the corner balance up now by adjusting the ride heights but the floor we have is not level enough. Massive thanks to Richard, Steve and Nathan@centurymotorsport for tonight. The car is now setup geo wise but just needs the corner weights setting at nathans next week. It will do for the shake down tomorrow Cant wait to experience a 600bhp supra which weighs 1236kg!! Must be a world record for the lightest supra! Ryan
  4. Thursday night is weigh in day hopefully I had to change the nearside driveshaft yes IIRC
  5. Tweaking launch controls mainly and supporting some of the big power supras that are their which i map. Mainly be working with Steve sherwood and Gledo Ryan
  6. The car will be going through some serious abuse the day before hopefully so i cant ensure it will be good to use it on saturday. Doubt i will do the Drag but might have a play on the drift area if their isn't too many other nutters on the area at the same time. I will be busy working my arse off on saturday as usual anyway Ryan
  7. Went with a Garrett Gt4088 in the end on a 0.81 housing. Mapping hopefully on thursday if i get time and sorting the geo at the same time. Just need to sort a driver for towing the car as unfortunely i dont have a towing licence Ryan
  8. Sorry for the late reply! Ok the Engine management light is switched on when the ecu is first powered up for 5 seconds. The pin from the ecu which drives the EML is the W labelled pin in the pinouts sheet. The pins which turns the fuel pump on is the FPC. You could check continuty on both if you wanted to their sources but it does sound like an alarm issue for sure. Which brand of alarm is it? Ryan
  9. Next week hopefully.. Have an entire airport taxiway to myself
  10. Well its pretty much ready to hit the track now for testing. Need to black the edges of the scoop on the bonnet and get the sponsership vinyls attached. Set of R888 and a basic geo setup and were see what it can do next week. Enjoy. I love it!! Thanks so much to the Guys at Autotec espically the Owner Steve for his much needed help with the project. Without Steve the car would still be in bits.
  11. Ok so its not a power issue for the EFI system or a problem with the Ignition barrel output to the ecu (IGSW) as this is how the main relay is trigger by the ecu when it gets 12v. Doubt its a fuel pump issue either but if you bridge B+ and FP in the diagnostic port that will tell you if the fuel pump is being turned off when you come back off the start position. Check that the ignitor in the engine is getting a constant 12v when you have the key in start and when going back to IGN. This 12v system is on a different circuit see to the B+ system in the Diagnostic port. On the ignitor the wire you want to check is on the smaller plug and its Black and orange. Report back

    The dyno curve never lies
  13. Grex Sandwich plate. oil pressure and temp takeoffs £20
  14. Get a multimeter and in the diagnostic plug check that the b+ pin is getting 12v when you turn the ignition on. Then get someone to crank it over and see if it drops out when you turn the key back from cranking to ign. Report back
  15. I was pretty close on my guess
  16. Sounds like your gearbox mount has seen better days.

  18. Thanks Steve, Very thoughtful mate All the precision turbos i have seen have garrett CHRA housing but have their own brand of exhaust housing and compressor housings
  19. Steve What brand was that exhaust housing on the turbo chap? AET in the UK think they have found a reason why this is happening on the precision Gt4088 turbos and other precision units. Im told its to do with the exhaust housings! One thing i have noticed is on the gt4088 with a garrett exhausting housings, it has not happened! All the turbos that have gone have had precision exhaust housings i have found.... Ryan The wierd thing is i never see this happen on any other cars with any turbo even the gt4088.
  20. Brill mate I'll take both the lips please as im no doubt going to hit them with how low the car is Ryan
  21. Who is the best people then guys to speak to about insurance for this car? Wondering if i can get it under kit car insurance ..
