Jay was the RLTC cutting in when this happened chap? Are you sure you have wired it all up correctly also and not mixed up a cylinder on the in and output wiring? Also how did you do the wiring? Solder and heatshrink? Can you also get the internal log of the AEM so we can see what happened chap? If it was detting the Knock control would have sorted things so i would be surprised if it is a piston ring gone. Sounds more like it has dropped a valve. No smoke or oil in the catch can? Ryan

Also had all the covers etc Chemically washed so looks brand new. Basically a brand new unit which comes with warranty on all work done! After £650 Delivered!!

Little update on the car... Now fitted a new splitter to the front to allow us to fully skid the front of the car. Also fitted a custom (much better looking) expansion tank. Some great alu skills from Autotec again!! Cars looking great now, although we feel it could do with some oem skirts maybe now

With the computer doing all the load cell mapping you would think they would notice the water temps going over 110c It even changes colour labelled ECT! Vipec is a Linkecu. They are in bed together Good units and i map alot on MR2's but the PID control on the them is shocking! Well was last time i looked. The PID control is used for closed loop vvti and closed loop Boost control. WIth the VVTI on a supra you have to use Closed loop control. Im not sure i would trust the vipec/link. Ryan
