  1. The Gt35R is a good turbo but its quite an old turbo design now and it wont hit 550bhp with stock cams unless you have the 1.06 exhaust housing or on another unnamed dyno! How much are you paying for the turbo as you know you can get a BW 91/79 for like £650 brand new and this is a much better design and easier to repair if it ever goes wrong. Ryan
  2. I'll take it please big man!
  3. Takes a while getting used too but once you have got the feel of it i find it no different..... then it does help im 6ft 3. You are more than welcome to have ago in mine any time just need to swap the crank pulley over when i get time. Me and stock pulleys dont get on!

  5. After one to try something new please let me know if you have one Ryan
  6. I do like to have a joke with Mr licence about how perfect everything has to be at times but when I turn up to map one of his engines I have 110% confidence with the engine. Mapping engines built and spec,d like this makes my job alot easier and even more enjoyable! Great work guys and roll on the 24th oops I'm late to my flight!!! Ryan
  7. Its on a piggyback so stock ecu is in place causing rev cut at 6600rpm. not on an AEM standalone like you had Ryan
  8. Looks good Matt Will you be hiring this out and if so how much is it to hire for the day? Also will you adding temperatured control air? if so what range does it have? This is a very cool feature at AER and Brilliant for correction setups on turbos? Hope the window is not glass Ryan
  9. I can wire them in for anyone But best to get them mounted first
  10. Its reading in lambda not Afr Starts of at 1.0 which is 14.7:1 and then drops to around 0.8 which is around 12.3:1 Looks fine to me fueling wise. Check the base timing with a timing light as the dizzy might have moved and its retarded or over advanced Ryan
  11. Staying up in Leeds again tonight so thought I would bump thus thread as got 2 other cars done last time which saved me from the hotel tv!
  12. Brilliant design Si, First time i have seen these! Well worth the money these moulds as someone could easily make a good bit of money on the side Ryan
  13. Thats the wrong print out Ash Thats the one it wheel spinned on. Look at the rpm at the bottom!
  14. I hear that this car made an outting yesterday and went full throttle but didn't move Am i right Rich, Ash?
  15. The issue is a strange one and i would say either related to a problem somewhere in the ignition system or the valves (maybe sticky). When the miss happens it creates a nice knock in the engine which the aem detects are knock and then it pulls the timing back but this is after the event has occured. Saw this once before and it was a faulty ignitor but as thats not curred it i would looking into the following: Swap Dli with known good one and check earth is good! Check timing star on crank is secure and not loose Check crank sensor and cam sensors are securely tightened. Swap cam sensors around (only one is used by aem so will rule out fauly sensor) New crank sensor Finally check valve clearances Ryan
  16. Im 100% sure its not a problem with the map chap and its the throttle position sensor thats playing funny buggers as all the idle settings are still run by the stock ecu as well as the starting enrichment! I will try and source another one when im with LeeP tomorrow and then find a day to get you to pop over mate Ryan
  17. If the cold idle is bad and the overrun fuel cut is not kicking in and its going that rich then its going to be the TPS is not working correctly and its not registering the throttle going under 2% to kick in the overrun and idle mode on the ecu. Could try adjusting the TPS position with the screws. Their is a guide somewhere on here for setting up the tps position. If you want though i will just do it when we map at SRR Ryan
  18. Reiss, Did you follow the guide from mkivsupra.net when doing the connectors as i bet its the pin gap which is causing the problem and you just put the new clips on without sorting the pins. See this guide http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=61141 Ryan
  19. Does anyone have moe blunts mobile number. He was a member on here and booked mapping session tomorrow but I can't contact him now as he is banned on here. Need to know if he is going to be at the Dyno so if anyone is in contact with him can you let me know asap!
  20. I would leave it on mate.... As to get round it you need to add alot of ignition timing when cold and then pull loads out when the idle strategy kicks in which sometimes you might hit in very slow moving traffic and it will not feel nice! You can add a small vsv to allow more air in when cold but if doing that you might as well run a ICV. On a cold start you want the car idling fairly high for a reason chap.
  21. It may have fired up quicker but there are reasons why the solaris/syvecs wait for 2 engine revolutions and why it wont let you boost till the oil temp is warm also. All these little motorsport strategies are the reason your engine is still in one piece Ryan
  22. Aem's are not prone to this chap i just prefer it if the engine has oil pressure before it fires hence why i make them fire after 2-3 engine revolutions the same as the Solaris/Syvecs now.
