  1. I have access now to half a runway with no noise limits and perfect for testing the paracute. Only 40 mins for you also! Might be good to get some test 30-130 runs in also Tried to ring you about it on Sunday as was Setting up Group N imprezas

    Thanks for replies guys Need below made from a substance which i can use for moulding off. Ie Carbon fibre Size wise its roughly depth = 43mm length = 130mm width = 180mm

    Any Guys on here do CNC Machining. I have a something which has been designed by a family member who works in F1 so it can be exported in any manor to suit your equipement but need a few of this items machining out of Tooling Block. This will benefit quite alot of the member also Please get in touch if you can help Ryan

  8. Update: all toyota Dbw unit working along vvti control, knock control, closed loop lambda and all engine trips..... Only downside is one of 2 walbro pumps have failed so 044 going in. Ryan
  9. Sorry for delay on this thread i have been away for christmas period enjoying some time off. Ok if all the ignition components have been changed and a missfire is still present then it might be faulty TTL Drivers on the EMU (as the Airflow circuit output on your EMU is already faulty it could be a problem with the board which would explain why it is getting worse) Have seen a few have issues with the Ignition side on the EMU. To test you can bypass the emu ignition control system by adding some some wire joints between the pins on the Ignition connector. You would need to look at manual to ensure you have right connector and that you are also joining the correct pins as will have to link E.G... IGN1 in and IGN1OUT If the miss is still present off BOOST then i will need to do some testing with some AutoEle tools to see exactly where the problem lies. Asked the guys on the GTR forums which cylinders go first in a pop....My bets are on the 3rd and 4th cylinder going first Below is a log showing the knock traces from each cylinder Red is Cyl4 and Dark Blue is Cyl3 you can see the difference compared to rest. The centre cylinders are always louder so gain has been adjusted to suit already which is due to the knock sensor placements but even so the centres are always first to knock and its not just because sensors are placed in centre of block as it knows which cylinder its firing based on listening to the correct Freq in a set window after each event has occured so shows that maybe the centre feed intake design favours the centre cylinders or its just purely down to that the centres run hotter due to cooling designs. Will back up when I get all 6 egts in the manifolds. Just to note the stock ecu regarded none of the above as enough to pull timing as i have left the stock in to keep the canbus happy and monitor knock as a extra sanity check (will be removed next week when canbus patch is applied ) But interesting enough now the standalone ecu is running the engine and injection has been set to match the larger injectors properly it enabled the engine to take more timing and produce the below. Ryan BTW before anyway asks why its lost power below 2400rpm its due to how much time the load it kept against the engine at the beginning of the run. The longer its held the more boost its creates.

The Stock actually caters well for the stock setup and basic stages well but when going 650hp+ it becomes abit dodgy espically when say you change the combustion dynamics as the stock knock control wont be right then and this is what 95% of GTR tuners relie on to tune the cars. There are many many benefits but these will be released with its shown at Autosport if ready. Ryan
  16. Ever since i admitted i was a Geek in Jap performance its all i seem to get called Using a Can Sniffer which allows me to recieve, transmit or both data. Then made my own custom data layout which transfers Hex into decimal and then plots the results in graphs so i can work out what everthing is from looking at the stock ecu logs. Webinar on this! It would be a month long!!

Bit of an Update Guys The Syvecs S8 is now running my GTR Perfectly with the S8 fully running everything on the engine on top of the stock Ecu just to keep the Stock Can bus system happy but Pat and Myself are now taking it to another level. We are reverse engineering the Stock Can Bus system so we can actually remove the stock Ecu completely and recieve/send data to all the others Nodes in the canbus system using the S8 2 Canbus systems. I can tell you reverse engineering the GTR Can bus is one of the hardest tasks i have worked on but Pat and I are about 50% throught it. This way we can pickup all the stock sensors inputs and feed into the S8 without having to use an extra inputs or outputs on the ecu! No one currently has done this with the GTR so its going to be a real show stopper! Canbus is the future for cars so building a few special tools and writing some custom software to do the GTR will help with everything we work on in the future.
