  1. Stronger wastegate spring and race fuel is going to be mental Looking at the spool again you gotta love the VVTI system
  2. £6k = 1/2 day. You would need a couple of days to get it right im sure
  3. You use a 8 position cal switches and you can flick between maps on the fly now. But if you wanted you can just use a 2 postion now. When the new firmware comes out that i have requested for exhaust valve control, Dan will have the ability to flick betwen the maps Ryan
  4. Syvecs s6 has full custom canbus control with the ability to be able to set frame indentifiers, frame frequencies and custom content. So im sure it could be made to work. Life racing also have a strategy im sure on there f88 for this type of gearbox which could be implented into the S6 im sure Im tempted!
  5. ARHHH not another car i cant watch go down the strip of mine!!! Im really kicking my self about this Oz work now!!
  6. Arhh gutted! Surely it would be worth cracking the problem and finishing it on the engine dyno. Its the best way to get it mapped 100%. No problems with wheel slip, fumes, MAT getting to hot etc.. Are you using the stock loom? Does it miss at peak torque? Shame the Fcon doesn't have a sync scope or missfire detection as you could see exactly what is happening. Ryan
  7. You can alter the rpm at which it shifts but cant change the hardness yet but Pat@syvecs wants to junk the stock ecu though and he is the only man i know who could work out how to do it!
  8. No i let the stock ecu run the box as it does a damn good job of it i just fool the auto control side of it abit to hold it in gear for longer and also then found a trick way to reduce the torque on changes.
  9. The Syvecs is also perfect for normal auto's and im going to try and convince Lui to fit one now as he has been bugging me for a while about this. All depends on the condition of the stock box though and how much cooling it has to know what torque it will run now.
  10. Good questions Dean Ok with the AEMFIC installed you are limited on the rev cut by the stock ecu which kicks in at 6800rpm. Now Lee's engine at this point is still make power in a vertical direction so it was pointless to really turn the boost up without a fix for the Rev cut issue and that the gearbox changes at 6600rpm in the lower gears. As i have been looking deeply into all this and an alternative for the shift retard to reduce the torque on changes through the Syvecs i thought lee's car would be ideal to trial the S6 on it. I offered lee a deal he couldn't refuse i have been working on it for the last 1 1/2 weeks. Today i finally got all the components working great on the gearbox and now it revs round to 7500rpm in all gears. At the same boost of 1bar we gained 27hp from just another 700rpm of revving. So chuffed i have finally got a proper answer for the high power autos now as its been bugging me since working with the series 1 aem units. Another good thing about using the syvecs for Lee now is he can go for bigger injectors and run more boost as well as having closed loop boost, knock control and traction control in the future when i have more time available to wire in etc. All piggybacks struggle really when you go past 650cc. Get some drag slicks now Lee and i reckon it will run a 10 sec 1/4 easy!! Please be careful in it!!
  11. From looking at the design front of the 2 manifolds i would say the hypertune is far superior based on the chamber designer! Would really want to see flow tests results from this phr unit before i brought or recommended it. Intake manifold design is an art!
  12. Try and keep the idle control valve chap if possible but it is in the way and needs to go a simple idle up valve can be used for cold running. You can junk the cold start injector though. Ryan
  13. Andy go for a tried and tested intake chap not a custom one that hasn't been even tested on a supra!! Hypertune
  14. Tilton Pedal box 5.8:1 PR and using portfield pads. Uk Front brakes and KAD 6 Pot Rears Can lock up all 4 wheels and feels just awesome
  15. Finally with the correct master cylinders, corrects pads and decent pedal box i have removed the remote servo unit!!. Saved 12kg and now i get a real feel of the braking. Ordering the alu for the flat floor next week then will drop off at autotec. Then Bring on the track testing. Got a very good feeling about this car now Ryan
  16. The manifold paul is now using is twin scroll so it has two separate volutes within the turbine housing. The main reason for doing this is to isolate the pulses coming from each exhaust port and maintain more of the pulse energy from each cylinder all the way down to the turbine wheel. If you can maintian more energy at the turbine wheel it then will spool faster. The firing order is designed around the manifold also on most TS manifolds so each bank of the scroll gets a pulse equally . The best way to control the boost is to have 1 wastegates of each scroll. This keeps the exhaust pulses isolated and maintains more of the energy. Pauls manifold has this... The Hks doesn't as it has one wastegate and all the pulses join in the collector. Another reason why it will spools faster slightly i reckon is the thickest of the manifold on pauls is alot! more than competiors so it keeps the energy isolated more. Only down side is it isn't light but i can never see one cracking! That will be £20 thanks Paul
  17. Yh true but i think its the perfect mixture now for all round power. I think it will be scary at oulton! Get on COD then
  18. Car was a flying machine last night mate! Just when i took my car up to 1.7bar and thought it was fast yours just blew me away. Git!
