  1. Jay how many times have i talked to you about this!! The EGTs are always hotter in the collector or exhaust housing. Due to the reason you have listed above.. Been tested and moved on many cars on here who i said to move the probe to 2" from the exhaust port on the head using a Decent ktype with like a 5mm shaft and 2mm tip. http://shop.vems.hu/catalog/sensor-type-p-53.html Just look at any vids of an engine on the dyno and see which part of the system glows first! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdWlnLM8Rmw&feature=related Also the precision exhaust housing are 100% the problem with those turbos! Seen so many now where the Exhaust housing has just split inside and debris have broken off. Lee P will confirm this as i showed him on one he had at his workshop. Ryan

  6. Gutted! No probs on the datalog help but you can see now why i wanted you to fit the Syvecs! Without all that logging we would have been stumped!! Ryan

  8. 37 days to i go away matey so get them fitted quick
  9. Can you get a picture of it Tone. The oil filter location will tell all
  10. Has anyone actually flow tested a set of 330cc injectors at 46psi .. They flow alot more than 330cc!! 330cc is what they flow at 38psi which is all the pressure a standard N/A reg runs at as it never goes into positive pressure. Add a Turbo to the engine and 7psi of pressure and the rising rate reg on the Supra's adds another 8psi of pressure to the rail which then makes the 330cc flow around 380cc. Same goes with the 440cc injectors on a TT when you run more boost than stock the rising rate reg add more pressure and the injectors flow more. Hence why i have seen over 440bhp from 440cc before. Ryan
  11. Did Adam road test with the race fuel in Steve Also get those pipe swaged!

    Racefuel

But then the processor on the Syvecs is about as much as an AEM.

    Racefuel

No map tweaking needed Also that flame you get is due to where the exhaust is over about 500c in the high gears and the aem overrun fuel cut response time is not quick enough so abit of unburnt fuel get ignited. Nothing to worry about though, most track cars will spit a few flames.

    Racefuel

Race fuel would be an overkill for what you want Mike Best thing to do is Buy some Meth from Jennychem (deliver to your door) and then with every tank add about 5 litres. The knock control on your ecu would take care of anything anyway mate but the meth works a treat and allows you to put more timing in but for what you want it will be perfect. Ryan
  15. Still waiting on the firmware release chap as its a big one this time and we want to release in one hit.
  16. The biggest i recommend going for with the aem fic is 650cc but have got 2 working fine with 800cc. If you have a T61 with stock cams and a walbro you will be fine with the 550cc up to about 1.5bar around 480-510bhp
  17. Door cards and rear seats sold. Spoiler is Jurgens Battery holder is Shiney but its for a Varley lightweight battery not stock
  18. Bit of an update on the car Some of you who have seen the car recently may have noticed that a set of OEM skirts and Spats have been added to the car. Well this has been done not for the styling side of things but to aid with the fitment of the new Flat floor and diffuser we are building for the car. First thing to say is anyone who wants to build a flat floor for the supra make sure you get it built properly and out of the right material!!!! Before getting started on the flat floor i enlisted the help of our very own Mr Licence again for some trips on how it should be built and angles etc. After a few phone calls and diagrams we went to work to build the frame that will support the flat floor. This is made out of 3/8 and 1/2 alu bar. Steve came up with a cracking design for the way it would clear certain items on the car with the lowest point down the centre creating 2 kind of venturi tunnels in the higher side areas. A few hours later he got to work with the tig welding. While this was being done i got a local company to make up an new exhaust system that would sit above the flat floor. In order to get it high enough they had to split the 3" down to 2x 2 1/4 pipes. Upon building the exhaust i noticed that the exhaust going down the centre of the car was going to be just to close to the fuel tank so the making of it had to stop half way until i got a new fuel tank made which would allow clearance of the exhaust so we could get the correct angle on the diffuser. Hopefully the fuel tank will be ready in 2 weeks time and then we can finish it off. Will try and update as much as i can but everything is abit mental for me at the moment with peak season for mapping, getting the car done and tested all before the 27th of June and then also trying to get all my work done before i go working/holiday in Oz on the 9th of july!! A few pics so far Unfortunatly it has added a fair bit of weight to the car but we are hoping this should transform the car in the corners!
  19. Not had time and doubt i will be able to get it on SRR after the flat floor is finished! At first we ran a servo on the fronts as we didn't think we would get enough brake pressure from the floor mounted pedal setup. so to get the same amount of braking bias we fitted a small master cylinder to the back and also the 6 pot calipers. The servo we used never seemed to work right on the car so i tried the brakes without and to my amazement it worked brilliant. So it was junked and then the bias bar was set to suit. TBH tho i do like a fair amount of rear braking. Feels like im in a go kart then
