Would 100% Suggest getting ID injectors mate. Best out there for Supra Siemens are crap at low duty so would avoid Did you try car again with 550cc in the engine
-
Need one for the V8 Project Anyone got one going spare Ryan
-
I have used the 2uz coils but any from a 2zzfe celica engine will work fine. Not 1zzfe as they are too short Ryan

My turbos are a fair bit smaller than erics so i think i might be ok but im going to keep an eye on the temps on the dyno with a thermocoupler under the bonnet and make some heat shields up for the hot sides of the turbo. Dont want to put a blanket on the turbos tho as the Vains turbos dont like this!!! But will be running as an N/A first to map then add the turbo cores afterwards. Got this weekend to work on it and hopefully when i get back from working in spain on the 15th it will be late nights ahead to get it running.

Engine is fully overhalued and now back in the car but sadly my SLR finally died it death late last night Here are some pics from SLR when it worked and iphone of both engine and gearbox overhaul. Will get a decent camera soon when funds allow Have taken the cores out of the turbos to run as an n/a first to get a 4d map on it. Just made some blanking plates Fitted bigger injectors and coil on plug ignition also

I will vouch for Johns work! His fab work is great on his own car.

Plugs into Fcon and allows fcon to run closed loop lambda and knock control. Very good upgrade for any fcon user!!!! Map sensor alone is worth £50+

Hi Mate Thanks for replying I went and brought some new ones in the end but after the pad seperator clips. The little metal spring things lol Need one for the front and one for back can you help? Ryan - 07812786303

Anyone got any in very good condition? Ryan

Until about a month ago, everything you said above i would say is true but having a few spare supra ecu connectors has enabled me to wire them externally and it works fine this way.
-
Recently i have been able to make the Aem piggyback on top of stock auto ecu like the fcon and it works fine. Not as good as a syvecs does it but just as good as lots of Fcons which run with no issues. Will be a damn lot better than the EMU on your car currently and with the prices of AEM series 1 for the supra these days i think it will be your best bet with current budget ADD.

Good to see it came together in the end and that AFR got to finish what they started. Nice Job Cant what to get my V8 on the dyno now as im hoping i will have full boost around 2000rpm with the VNT's. Got a feeling it will have too much torque for 295's
-
Yes you can Done this already but on a Syvecs Will be just the same with a fcon.... remember when wiring in the coil outputs on the fcon to do them in the firing order of the engine. Only downside to doing it this way is you can get abit of timing difference with ignition timing at high rpm due to the belt stretching on the cam belt. Ryan

No Probs today im doing building work but as said im flat out this week so want to get car running today before you ring do following. Get the car out of the garage so get a better wifi signal Download the teamviewer software and install Swap cam sensors Then give me a ring

Screw monday what time you home from work as monday im doing 3 cars and dont expect to be home before 9pm. Also dont kick yourself about the engine earth! I work with car electrics everyday and on my track car i was too busy thinking about everything else when i first started it up that i forget to put an earth from the engine to the chassis completely!! Hence why i was so quick to find the problem with yours yesterday! Steve did find it hilarous and i felt abit of a muppet but everyone and i mean everyone makes mistakes!! That why we traders have liability insurance!

Sorry i couldn't give anymore time yesterday John but i rarely get anytime in the week to do anything. I had 5 guys round to help lift in some RSJs at 12 and couldn't waste there time anymore. After you had fixed all the little niggles i pointed out it was already 1.30pm and i was seriously getting sworn out when 4 guys are lifting a 230kg beam and im on the phone and laptop. I know you spent alot of time on the engine and car yes but these builds will always have little problems as so much has been changed and when working the hours you do on the car, mistakes will be made. I have to work similar hours on my own cars and i have made some right mess up but if it was straight forward it would be boring. Now the syvecs is telling me there is a critical cam error which mean the ecu is seeing a trigger tooth when its not ment too. The voltage thresholds for the crank and cam sensors on the syvecs are what are used on all 2jzs with syvecs so they are fine but it probably means your cam sensor which is being used is faulty or you have some serious electrical interference after the engine fires......or your cam timing is out as the ecu is seeing a cam tooth when its not ment to. My guess is faulty cam sensor so a quick thing to try is to swap the cam sensors in your cylinder head around or see if you can make the middle cam sensor plug reach the back sensor. I will have to change the config this way but it might be easier. Then i will need you to get the car out the garage so i have a better wifi connection and for you to download this on your laptop. http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup_en.exe Chin up and it will be running on the key soon BTW thanks to UGP (ben) for helping with setting up the remote connection used and getting fumed out for me in the garage

Car is very much still mine. All that needs doing now is finishing the flat floor and then possiable swapping the engines around between the black v8 and the 2jz in this. All will come down to power to weight Ryan

That would be ideal Axle, btw tried ringing you back yesterday

Can anyone help with supplying 3 of these or know the toyota part numbers for the holder See picture below

Done a few more bits on the engine, Ordered all new bearings, seals, belts and stripped down the engine to give it a once over and fit some MLS Headgaskets which are 0.2 mm thicker to help lower the CR down to 9.75:1 Off down to AFR tuesday to map a car and get Matt to clean and flow test the 7MGTE Injectors ...then its back home to fit all the ARP Bolts and get the engine complete again hopefully on sunday. Fitted a Bosch 044 to the car also and my old bilsteins from the white car. All turbo kit wrapped Just awaiting flywheel and then it all goes in the car Ryan

I need a front and cant find one either

Only thing i would worry about with the internal coating at camcoat is when the ceremic coating comes away which it will if it can only withstand 1000c then its going to go straight through a turbo spinning at a serious rpm.
