I wouldn't of recommended it for your setup as you are using 720cc injectors, on the thread were I introduced these I clearly state not recommended for over 650cc. But this will only be half your issue by the sounds of it. Some cars need resistors to be fitted, some just don't work at all. AEM quality control is just s*^t Ryan

Forget to add Thanks to the Guys at AFR for sorting me out a few spare v160 bits.

Both of the ones on the Black car have snapped bleed nipples so need 2 which are in good condition and the bleed nipples still unscrew and havn't been tightened to high heaven. Ryan

Well after 3 monthes of late nights, unhappy girlfriend, burns, bruises and stress the engine is finally in the car working as it should Got the engine in last weekend but had to take out this week in the night as the guy who ever changed over the sump setup to a soarer on my engine forget to change the pickup gasket. Resulting in air getting in and not gaining oil pressure. (Thanks Chris Wilson for diagnosising this over the phone...Legend!!) All the gearbox setups works a treat with the custom flywheel i had made. Uses all the stock setup and works with the starter motor perfectly! Well happy with this. The gearbox is got 2nd hand and it works fine after a quick rebuild but whines abit on idle and in gear but the noise goes away when the clutch is depressed.. Thinking a faulty release bearing?? Anyway here are some pics when it went in. Will get a video up soon and pics of the exterior of the car. Only downside to the 1uz conversion is it sits so damn high at the front now with the weight differences

To put down 700bhp on R888 after about 40 dyno pulls at surrey rolling road means its got some serious grunt and to get a true figure now it needs to go on TDI... BUT would say at a mininum its 750bhp Ryan

Its the Standard ecu reducing the torque on gearchanges. You get the banging on your car because of the large injectors and running a piggyback. Basically when you get to the point where the box changes the stock ecu creates torque reduction by pulling timing and closing the ETTC valve about half way, when doing this with large injectors that i find are larger than 650cc the amount of fuel that is injected into the engine is twice as much as toyota mapped it for gearchanges. Lots of fuel, retarded ignition, oxygen and an exhaust which is around 400c creates basically a flame thrower. Only way you can try and get round it is look at the cell it sits in when it happens and pull fuel out. Or Fit a Syvecs which monitors the ETTC valve and retards the timing it self so cuts the right amount of fuel
