  4. Right no more whinning from gearbox!! Nice part was causing it all along which im waiting on some compensation for at present as it took out a gearbox, cost over £100 to get fixed and about 10 late nights of my time! So now its ready for mapping as an N/A Got my Lexus wheels back from a refurb as well Finally got some Forged pistons and Uprated rods on the way over to build the spare engine for when i get bored Ryan
  5. Great to see it up and running guys!! John, One thing mate.... You must have alot of faith in the build quality of that engine standing where you are in the video. I will never forget when i saw a engine stick a leg (rod) out of bed on the Engine dyno once... it put a rather large dent in the concreate wall!! Ryan p.s Forget using the 2step for getting the turbo going it is a valve killer!! Just a squirt of Nos will get that thing at 30,000rpm in no time!
  6. Chill Chill I have been away so couldn't get to my notes to know but your error code 23 is A/F O2 signal missing.... Basically I setup the closed loop o2 control on jamesy ecu so know it has no o2 signal feeding into the ecu its not happy. If you have a AEM wideband then feed the white analog output wire into pin16 on the attached fcon pinout (see below) and sorted There is no other way to turn it off without a laptop and dongle unfortunatly. But the ecu is fine!! VPRO3.2PinOut.pdf
  7. Mine is now all finished and i got company to make some flywheels espically for me for the W58, R154 and V160. Works with all the stock clutches, forks, cylinders etc

  9. First time I have seen a vid of it and does look like the fuel jet on the nitrous is abit too big. Thing with nitrous is it messes with widebands but with nitrous off it runs a perfect 0.8 lambda. Ryan

  11. Check that Pin 31A has power going to it. Single ecu plug, bottom right hand pin which is black/red in colour..... Then check that the spider earthes are on the bottom of the intake manifold. Then check that the red wire on the emanage which i think you have labelled above has power also.

  15. No Problems mate, I have the shroud which goes the rad for the viscous and also i have the shroud which goes in front of the rad if you need this also

  17. Shocks were fine when on car and removed because wanted to lower the front end now the v8 is in and there is less weight over the front. Few Pics of some of the bits

  19. Mike the Aircon is switched through the ecu and i dont think the loom you have has the aircon stuff wired in as magictorch removed the pump. This i can fix when mapping
  20. On a v160 it will be fine in 5th or 6th as the ratio is not 1:1.. but on a 2 speed glide box with a gear ratio of 1:1 ratio in 2nd, the delta torque is massive. It was nearly producing 800kw of energy!!! Joys of auto's and Torque convertors But the dyno is the only one in the UK that will do as well as it did last night. We were doing 30 second runs! So if you think normally stu's car would do a quater mile in under 10 seconds in both gears.... just how hard the packs would have to have been working to hold the torque back to make a run 30seconds so we could a.) get map perfect b.) know if it did a top speed run to 200+ it would be fine. The dyno worked so well last night that now i have a volume efficiency plot laid out for up to 3bar. All the rest of the tuning is now done on the strip. Well a 1am finish and now back off to work!

Just leaving Tdi now and we managed to be the first to overpower Tdi's Dyno Last reading we got at 1.8bar was 810 at the hubs on esso 97 fuel any more boost and the packs slipped at peak torque. I need a t6 turbo in my life. Full boost at 5k aswell which is amazing! Bring on 2.5bar at pod on sat with nitrous!
  22. either that or you bring the car down to me when its all down and leave with me. Will need for week or so (would prefer this route as can get cold start etc perfect)
