  1. I will have to meet you guys at reading again as mapping Homers car with different map sensor. So will be there around 7.30
  2. i used the same dat file that was on my supra. THink its a terminator one. Got the units to be exactly the same in configs and still would not fire car. So plugged my racelogic into customers car and it started. So off went unit back to racelogic When they work they are good but just recently i have seen 3 that have had problems. Each problem racelogic have fixed quickly
  3. Surely this would not cause the car not to start tho The unit was brand new from racelogic
  4. i had a problem at the weekend with a car not starting at all due to racelogic being faulty so i would look into wiring at ecu matey as the racelogic cuts into the injector feeds that go to injectors. Im really starting not to like these racelogic boxes as had many problems recently. On my car its always switched off now
  5. Its wasn't just f40's there was a massive ferrari meet at silverstone a friend went and said they even had a fxx on track

  7. Dont think turbo blanket would have stopped this look how close the exhaust manifold runners are to pipe. LOL The other funny thing was it was running 205 tyres as drag tyres were illegal on road i left leaving him a list of things to change asap
  8. I think it was just down to the heat from manifold tbh you can see it in pic
  9. Well was mapping a mr2 to 2bar boost running a gt series turbo at weekend think was 35 and on the drive back after mapping the owner decided to put a couple of bikes in there place and boy did this thing shift anyhow got to around 5000rpm in 5th and there was this almight bang and lose of boost. So decided to look in engine bay to see which pipe had blown off and was shocked to see this. Was mainly down the heat from the exhaust manifold i think but boy was it a big bang. Scared the crap out of bikers too

Nope you can go for the cheaper g3 which runs wasted spark and has all the features the plus has

The aem is a great ecu due to its ability to be plug and play nearly but the link just wipes the floor of it in terms of cost mainly and reliability. The link does everything the aem does in terms of features but has a built in map sensor, does not run wasted spark on the plus version so no need for a dli, have bigger resolution, ignition cut insteed of fuel cut and has some nice extras like the optional link screen for monitoring engine sensors in cockpit. I could go on but dont wanna go off topic

Ok Graham following our phone conversation Put the key to ignition on Connect up the 9 pin serial connection and open the pclink software. Then on the toolbar at the top select Link Controls This will bring a drop down. Now select connect link. This should then bring the connection online. If not check what that its using the correct com port under Options / Connections. Ok so should now be online what i need you to do is select the tab run time displays and then select diagnostics. Pop up on here the readings or ring me bud. Ok also let me know the firmware version under Help/firmware. Before you try and upload new firmware make sure you save your map as have seen the earlier links loose there maps on updates. You really wanna be looking at a link g3 bud there on par with a motec, wipe the floor of aem and half the price of a aem too
  14. How you know who's car im on about gary
