  1. Thanks for members bringing this to my attention Just the record here. I am do Freelance mapping for companies when required although their are certain companies i do not do work for any longer. I would also like to add that I DO NOT WORK FOR ANY COMPANIES THAT ARE LISTED IN THIS THREAD AND WOULD LIKE IT IF THE OWNERS WOULD STOP SAYING I DO!!! Just to add For my rep i always check a car over before mapping any car that a company has worked on as i would not want to tarnish my name on others doings. One of the cars recently that i mapped which TF had worked on i actually created a list of things wrong for the customer as would not map until sorted. These were not just 1 or 2 things. Some very serious After the list had been sorted i then mapped the car and the customer was very happy.
  2. Brand new Gtech Pro SS Brought 2 of these as find them useful for when mapping ignition timing on road as my bum dyno is slighty out . Are accurate and a great accelerometer. Have tested as well to see how accurate these are against a car i have dyno'd and was 8bhp out so damn good for price. More info here from where i purchased, still have reciept http://www.funkystyling.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=444002818 Save £5

    ToyotaGT

Was mapping a mr2 for a company this week near basingstoke called ToyotaGT and was very impressed with there setup. Spoke to owner for awhile and it seems their very big in the mr2 world but have started working on a few big build supra's. One of them who is member on here . Just got a e-mail back from owner as was enquiring about rps clutches and their offering the rps street max for £600 fitted Had a search round and seem the rps clutch it self is around £480 so seems a bargain. Have booked it in for change now so will report back. Have told owner about the club and how we are needing some decent garages on here so hopefully they will join the club. If anyone wants some other prices on bits fitted then give them a ring. http://www.toyotagt.co.uk/
  4. Hi I am after a aftermarket clutch for my supra asap as finally mapped my car up to 1.4bar and the standard clutch lasted 1 day . Anyhow after a clutch that can take 500ftlb of torque + Have been looking at RPS Street max, southbend and ACT but no one has any in stock and have to wait 2 weeks from states. Has anyone got any for sale or any traders have anything in stock Ryan
  5. Ok Bit more info as just spoke to them on phone You need to pay a £500 license fee per yr for the software and dongle You also need to have a dyno before they will even consider supply the software to you. They also have to come check out all your premises and you need to pay for the engineer to come out for the day. The list goes on
  6. Would love to have access to software and dongle files as get so many people wanting these mapping but have to send elsewere
  7. i have a 6sp ecu spare if anyone wants pm me
  8. His car did pull very well and is abit more to come at top end but im sure i will see him soon and maybe were dyno it at same time
  9. Ok here are the details for the T51. HKS T51 kai | 0.96 AR housing (i think) (Mr Keef)- Makes full boost (1.4bar now ) in 6th by 4080rpm and at 1.4bar @6000rpm is running 73% injector duty on 850cc injectors (stock FPR) (Air temps were 41c when logged) Is laggier than all the others but when this bad boy comes in you know it. With a set of aftermarket cams i recon this car would be a 700hp car 850 / 73% = 620 bhp @6k (estimate using a lambda of 0.8)
  10. 8.5" fr 9.5 Rr Not sure on offset but will find out, they fit both uk and jspec supras tho
  11. Brought these about 3 monthes ago for my supra as were closest thing to what i wanted, have now managed to find my perfect set of wheels i have been after. These Come with hubcentric spacers at front to clear UK brake setup if fitted to Jspec then they are not needed. These can be brought of ebay for £475 delivered so im offering them for £375 collect. There are absolutely no scratches, dent, dings or whatever you call it on polished lip and they shine like new Please pm if interested This is just for alloys no tyres are included
  12. Take it that was going by daryls rpm counter if so its wrong, Daryl knows that, he would change at what he thought was 6800 on his counter when mapping and I would be seeing 6600 on ecu. Ecu is always right as its getting it directly from the Ne signal from crank.
  13. The garrett version seems to be completely different to the daf but some of turbo gurus will tell more I'm sure
  14. all those specs are stock cams apart from jakes which is also vvti but thought I would throw jakes into the equation as don't think anyone else runs a 0.96
  15. Hows this compare to your supra charlie?
  16. Ok after going through some of the maps and logs this morning of all the different single supra’s I have mapped It seems the results vary quite abit from turbo to turbo. I will mainly keep my results around the t67 and gt4088 as these 2 turbo’s seem the favourites at the moment. DAF GT4088 | 0.81 AR housing (Ryan.g)- Makes full boost (1.4bar now ) in 6th by 3550rpm and at 1.4bar @6000rpm is running 82% injector duty on sard 650cc injectors (stock FPR) (Air temps were 41c when logged) Seems laggy but flows well at top end, made 503bhp@fly at 1.18bar. 650 / 82% = 533 bhp @6k (estimate using a lambda of 0.8) GARETT GT4088 | 0.81 AR Housing (b’have) – Makes full Boost (1.4bar) in 6th by 3100rpm and at 1.4bar @6000rpm is running 83% injector duty on sard 650cc injector (Stock Fpr) (Air temps were 40c when logged) Seems better spool and midrange and still flows more than the DAF gt4088 at top end. 650 / 83% = 539 bhp @6k (estimate using a lambda of 0.8) Boostlogic T67 Dbb | 0.68 AR (think) Housing (Homer) - Makes full Boost (1.4bar) in 6th by 3100rpm and at 1.4bar @6000rpm is running 68% injector duty on precision 800cc injector (aeromotive fpr 38psi I think) (Air temps were 42c when logged) Seems good spool and midrange and Flows the most at top end so far. 800 / 68% = 544 bhp @6k (estimate using a lambda of 0.8) DAF (think) GT4088 | 0.96 (think) AR Housing (Jake) – Makes Full Boost (1.4bar) in 6th by 3780rpm and at 1.4bar @6000rpm is running 71% injector duty on precision 800cc injector (aeromotive fpr 38psi I think) (Air temps were 35c when logged) bit slower with spool than the DAF 0.81 gt4088 but flows alot more at top end. I remember jakes car pulled insanely after 5000rpm on my bum dyno . Looked the nicest too 800 / 71% = 568bhp @6k (estimate using a lambda of 0.8) Just to add at 6700 rpm the injector duty was at 74% cycle so this car should be around 590 bhp If any of the information above with regards specs are incorrect let me know and I will edit Also tomorrow morning I will look at the logs of the t51 and see how they compare as seems a lot of people are interested in this turbo Ryan. Discuss
  17. I will look at the datalogs from all the different cars tomorrow as got the morning off and will try and do a little write up on what i think of the different turbos i have mapped.
  18. i would agree bud mine feels pretty slow compared to homers but then b'have has a daf i think and his is on pars with homers on spool and mid range i would say.
  19. You sure when he did that vid
  20. I have a DAF one and would say homers t67 spools quicker but i have a 0.81 housing and think jamie had .68 not sure
  21. When i have got my new clutch in guys and mapped to 1.4 were all have to meet up and do a comparison with my gt4088 but having driven homers t67 MINE certainly feels less in the midrange. Im running a 0.81 ar
  22. You seem to be looking at alot of porsche material at present mitch, Change of car?
