    which ecu

Yes the link g3 lem is perfect for you with its built in map sensor and only cost £520 from thor. Is very good ecu for price. Link Plus can do vvti

    which ecu

Best to ask others how the car drives after i have mapped it.

The LinkG3 plus is definatly on par with the Motec m600 IMO and it was aimed to compete with it. I have just finished mapping one on a supra today and the owner was baffled by how much it can. As a run down on the supra this is how i normally set it up but other options are available. - Sequetial injection - Direct Spark ( no need for a DLI ) - Built in 3D boost controlled with MAC solenoid so can sell current controller. - Boost controllable by either Gear setup or Volume knob on a switch - Switched outputs to control anything you like based on parameters in engine, i.e water injection come on at XXXXrpm and XX boost pressure when switch is activated. Also Can fit shiftlights, IC spray and many other items - All factory settings like aircon idle up etc are kept - All VSV's round engine are still controlled - Ign and fuel trims setup for different temps - Dual maps at switch for normal unleaded fuel or race fuel - Launch control on switch - Antilag on switch And many more features but its a sunday and im tired
  4. I thought you liked the pops and flames If you getting annoyed of the popping mate there is a easy way to stop it which i can tell you to do over the phone but keeps the smoother overrun and quicker throttle response from the off and on throttle changes Ryan
  5. John i understand what your saying but have you ever tested different afr's and then taking it to MBT to see which makes the most power and torque. Ryan
  6. You did a great job with this mate In case people wonder why this was not done before i only had a short amount of time to get the link running good ready for mapping at the dyno tomorrow and the idle was just abit low on cold. Alot of people has asked me to spend some time teaching them the basics etc and thinking of hiring the dyno soon to do this if people are interested to show them what afr and timing settings effect on the car Ryan
  7. What car is this on John?
  8. For the full power stuff i would recommend going to motorscope and hiring the dyno for hour then its in a controlled environment and you can use their wideband as well to confirm A/F are good Ryan
  9. Maximum break torque (MBT) Go on google and research it
  10. I know bud just wanted to say as made me laugh as i just said to jay about 3 hours before not to bother lol The software looks daughting and takes a while to find where everything is but when you have found it they are not that bad. They would be alot easier to map and quicker if they had a active map trace built into the datalogging. The PFC software is nice as its not over worked and everything you need can be found quickly as it been designed around the users, very much like a motec and link ecu. Ryan
  11. Funny you should say that bud, I said to Jay tonight at first not to even play with it but then he started to sound like he had done some research (even tho some of the stuff he learn't was wrong MBT) and i said to have a go but dont go to mad. Start with working in areas which is not underload or high in rpm. One thing to remember tho dick is there is alot more to mapping a full standalone ecu than a piggyback. No you dont
  12. Hey Charlie Glad your having fun matey and congrats Will have to catch up and see pics when your back Ryan
  13. i don't map piggybacks!! Speak to ian mate as dont know the emu software at all Sorry
  14. Mr Turner, Would have thought he didn't know what det cans were
  15. People always laugh when i say that they are worth having due to the oil vapour lowering the octane level in the mixture
  16. DOH! Everyone always beats me to it Anyway have you seen some of the others pictures they are going to have on the back. http://www.hampshire.police.uk/Internet/localpolicing/safer/Safer+Neighbourhoods+bus+artwork.htm I think the 4th one down is quite amusing also
  17. Did the car feel as normal also as 9:1 afr would be horriable to drive.
  18. Hey Mate Firstly i would Check the Analog outputs are still set correctly on the innovate and then make sure then are actual giving a reading out correctly against your afr gauge. Secondly you sure you EMU is alright after the whole dyno ignition timing thing Ryan

    Supra is sold!

I have eagle F1's as well and really struggle for traction some days until 4th gear. As soon as the weather gets better next year some R888 will be going on.
  20. Very nice Lyndon!! Be interesting to See what that produces on a DD dyno in shoot 6f. As every car i have seen that has a Hub/wheels figure from a Dynapack or a Mustang dyno makes the same power at the fly on a DD.
  21. Thanks paul i aggree about keeping to same dyno as want to keep the figures realistic
  22. Paul have you got a dyno graph of your t61 as seems the t67 Dbb is just as quick TBh in all the graphs i have looked at. Where was yours dyno'd for 510whp
