Hi The Doluck bumpers come as standard with a Forward pointing hump between the lights. I personally feel this 'hump' looks out of place and ruined the lines along the front so i had it removed at a bodyshop. It is hard to spot in pictures but if you look closely at the image below you will see it.

Judging by all the interest i have had in this car im feeling abit of a muppet for putting it up so cheap but as long as the new owner is happy then thats all that matters.

Just to add to the thread the car also has some nice new HID lights fitted

Not sure on the make matey as it was motorscope's tester but had free air calibration etc Ryan

I over looked this problem myself while up in darlington mapping for Michelle Lane and Motorscope. A small amount of contamination on the oil cap is normal this time of year but the inside of the cam cover was covered and when i put the emission tester over the coolant the emission shot up. Also when the car starts when hot (water pressure is higher then so has more chance of passing the gasket) it is definatly burning water as it only fires on about 3 cylinders for 4 seconds until it is burnt off. Was your car mapped by Dan?

Is there a filter on the Idle control valve at the back of the intake manifold? if not sounds like there is a leak were it vents back into the intake system. When the car is idling the ICV opens to allow air into the intake manifold while the TB is closed to keep the engine alive but when you open the throttle more than 3% the ICV closes Ryan.

I always Map Cell by Cell. p.s good job on setting the fuel cut on those maps above at -14 psi to stop anyone using them -
Thanks for offer Paul will see if i can find any black items and then if i cant will pop you a PM

Must admit i was very nervous about looking at this car 3 weeks ago as i knew that 1100c+ EGT's that it had been through on the DT map would do more damage just hope the blocks not cracked with the extreme heat cycle it used to have. Thanks for the Flu though jay today

Took me a while to reach this decision as I honestly love the car to bits but having £13,995 just sat in a garage depreciating is hard to just ignore especially with summer coming when im working pretty much every day and night. Don’t worry though I will still be on this board trying to help as much as possible when im free.

*NOW SOLD* After much thought over the last few days i have decided to sell my very much loved supra, Was originally brought of Outatime in march 07 and have enjoyed taking the car to its current state. I feel i need to sell now as due to work commitments the car only gets used once a month but when it is used it always brings a smile to my face and has scared a few members on here. The car produces 566bhp and 480ftlb at 1.3bar (Surrey Rolling Road) Here is the spec of the car as it stands. The feed for the Map sensor and the FPR on your Car Darren is taking from the Filtered outlet. (Stops any moisture or crap getting into the map sensor and FPR) The straight outlet feeds your Boost gauge and the Boost controller. I think you were looking at the Water temps darren Your air temps cruising around were around 30c and then when the engine was turned off they rose to around 50-60c when the intake manifold heat soaked Ryan.

Really feel for you with this problem darren I have cancelled the dyno Mapping now chap. Glad that we left it after having a play with the cruise map, as i was wondering how much it would change with more heat and seems like it was alot

Another single build! PHR street kit

The *throttle inj corr* is a correction factor that is based against what percentage the TPS is open. What you have along the bottom axis is the percentage of the TPS i.e 0% closed, 100% fully open. (p.s make sure you have the tps setup properly) You then add the extra correction trim if you find that the more fuel is needed on slight opening of the throttle. Most supra's are ok with this all set to 0 but i most of the time find myself tweaking it to the engine characteristics never seen one you need to pull fuel though unless it has a wild Acceleration enrichment setup. I must add also that the aem ecu is not really an ecu i would want to be playing with when trying to play with ECU's and using other peoples settings on your car etc is only a reciepe for Disaster. What i was tring to say is 510whp is impossiable with 550cc injectors unless your fuel pressure is around 50psi static pressure. Does this not worry you? Over 90% injector duty i class as dangerous TBH Paul we are not talking about a stock cast manifold here with an adapter plate, i am talking about a professionally designed cast manifold that has been designed to flow to the requirements of a 2jzgte with a single turbo and provide enough port velocity not to cause a restriction. The Higher EGT's under 950c are also a bonus in a cast manifold case With regards Wes's figure that was at 1.4bar dropping to 1.2bar (MBC problem) on the dyno sheet and my datalog. (think his boost gauge is faulty ). Even my T61 at 1.3bar made 566bhp and i have the same spec as wes nearly apart from the manifold and trim. I would suggest maybe meeting up wes and having a test drive as if you are running 510whp his car would feel slower Also Wes's car was still climbing nicely on the dyno so there is 100% proof that the cast was not becoming a restriction. Yes if you want say 600+ bhp i agree it will probably start to become a restriction but for a small gt35 to a t62 turbo the cast route IMO is the best. End of the day its a tool for mapping a car safely in a controlled environment and im not going to find myself getting into debates about dyno brands when i have used pretty much every brand in the UK and now select which ones i use. If you can find the link, Performance Tuner did a test on alot of the dyno brands in Uk a while back to see which one was near the actually manufacture BHP. The only ones that came near was both Dyno dynamic dyno's. Ryan

With your spec Paul i would expect to see 500bhp @ fly maximum which is past my safely limit on 550cc injectors. As in order for you to just achieve 510bhp @ fly you would need to be running your 550cc injectors at 93% duty. I could maybe understand your figure of 510whp on maybe 720cc injectors but with auto tranny loses you have got to hitting 630-650 at the fly with that Whp figure you have. Im not having a dig or anything chap but the figures you are quoting are impossiable based on its spec. Even if you ran nitromethane you would not hit that figure as your injectors would be maxed out again. But as long as your happy then that all that matters. Also with a cast manifold like Wes's it will not become a restriction to around 650bhp and before then it is alot better than a tubular as all that extra stored heat allows the air molecules to travel even faster Ryan
