  1. Right needs these out of the way guys so pm me with offers
  2. Oops only just saw this thread. Will PM details now. Not sure if i will be able to make Sat yet as might be working. Ryan
  3. Used them with 3SGTE's. No piston slap issues when cold and held up to some serious abuse. (2.2bar)
  4. Thanks for some of the PM's guys, Will definatly be sticking around on here. Money will be going towards a house although im going to spend abit of the money to buy a kit car. Ryan
  5. Just watched my Supra drive off with it new owner and have to say, i feel gutted. I have only just relised what kinda car i had. I have never seen it not stationary before and seeing it drive down the road purr'ing away made me wanna chance after it. Im sure the new owner will look after it as all the previous have and i hope to see it again soon. To anyone who is thinking about selling the supra, get a friend to just drive it down the road and see how you react. Ryan
  6. Right If you leave the first cat in on Most supra's and remove the 2nd one they will run around 1bar. 1bar on a STOCK ecu if the 1st cat is place will not hit EGT's that are not safe unless you have a fueling issue. The point i was making on my first post is that when you start to lean out the mixture with the FIRST cat in place you will hit EGT's that are too high unless the mixture is still fairly rich in tuning terms. Stock ecu’s run 10:1 I was stating 11:1 The closer the restriction is to the engine the more it will cause the temps to rise. Because if you take one of the Cats out it will be creating more boost than it would with a standard system and both cats. More boost = more power = more energy = more heat! I cant comment on the egt’s on a standard exhaust so they may well be the same as with the 2nd cat removed and an aftermarket exhaust. Another point I was trying to make is that if you are on a stock ecu with the 1st cat in place don’t run more than 1bar other wise the EGT’s will be too high Blimey lol Ryan p.s Although i want to try and help as much as possiable on here i dont not have much spare time during the day and find myself on here when ever im waiting for something with work or on lunch
  7. Think your being silly My point was made about a BPU setup so it wont be running stock boost
  8. Mike I forgot to put *1st* in my reply. Look Again I was talking about actually mapping a BPU TT. I found that with the 1st cat in place you have to keep the AFR fairly rich to keep the EGT's down as the restriction which it causes is huge with regards flow and being very close to the turbo's it makes the EGT's Sky rocket. On a stock ecu though you will be fine as they run around 10:1 at the top end anyway but i would not suggest running 1.2bar with the 1st cat in place. Right back to work Ryan
  9. Yes if there are issues with high EGT's and the timing being correct you need to richen up the mixture to keep it safe. 3" is fine for any car under 700bhp IMHO but 2.5 system do start to become a restriction as i found on Rob's car over 500bhp
  10. Sorry i dont. I just recommend either fitting a 2nd Decat back in for the MOT which is a Piss of piss or just throw the nice man a pack of lager
  11. Restrictive exhausts and Smaller AR housing always produce alot hotter EGT's. On a BPU TT with a 1ST Cat in place you have to run around 11:1 in order to just keep the EGT's at a safe level. Ryan
  12. Id be up for that although im a Skier
  13. Put a stock rad cap on it mate! The aftermarket ones that raise the pressure are bad IMO and funny enough alot of the cars i have seen with a blown heater matrix have one fitted. Ryan
  14. Be sorry to see this animal of a car go abroad but i think it was abit too much power for the uk road LOL. I honestly felt sometimes that 0.8bar was the quickest mode in the car as it struggled with traction alot with any more. Must say though when i drove mine for the last time on sunday with the Boost set against speed it was AWESOME. Really helped with traction in lower gears. Ryan
  15. Yup is a GTR intercooler. They have slighty different size outlets also, although never seen one with 4" outlet.
  16. I recognise that presentation One of the first sheets you go through at MoTeC to help touch the basics. Ryan
  17. I have only seen the gauge tech once installed in a customers car and was very impressed with it although i only briefly looked at it. TBH though its not really needed for a well mapped car as the Aem has a closed loop knock control and closed loop boost control which are Awesome when setup correctly. The knock control can be that good that if i dial in the extra timing i dont even hear any noise through the cans as the Aem has pulled it that quick. It only when you look at the logs that you see it pulled timing. Also then with the boost control setup right users can have a switch to run either high, low boost and against speed. So any Aem owners could sell any external BC as the AEM will always do a better job. When setup correctly you just punch in what boost you would like and done. You are also right about the Warning light as i figured out recently how to make it illimuliate if the ecu has detected knock Ryan
  18. I have never seen any Aem tuning software designed for a PDA probably due to the fact that the processor wont be able to handle it but you can buy *hardware* that has decoded the AEM data stream and are able to view parameters that the AEM Data gauge can see, like the Gauge Tech does below. http://www.gauge-tech.com/ I have just got hold of a small Tablet pc which i am going to be mounting in a customers car ready for this years time attack. See below although i am still working on the dashboard at present to make sure it is easily viewable. It is only 244mm x 160mm x 28mm Ryan
  19. Will now take £300 for the 2 x 275/35/18 R888's

Dyno Code Matt will know what i mean. Maha and DD (dyno dynamics) are dyno brands. DD dyno come with a unique Strapping system at the back which works very well on supra for enabling it to keep traction on the dyno. Im wondering if Matt is going to make something similar for the maha's as strapping needs to be good with 500+bhp supra's and i know Matt is not going to do a DT and strap it through the car!
  23. If this is still available Jay i will take it as Charlie needs some more Screens at the dyno. Maybe a free dyno run for you in exchange

Pics!!!! Looking forward to working on the dyno now if im going to be on TV Are you adapting the strapping system Matt with the Maha to work like the DD's Ryan
