Not seen that document before. I can't see how MoTeC say it's only able to be setup by trained staff. It's on the level of basic knock on the Syvecs/life racing gear. Plus it's free with the Ecu and not hundreds of pounds extra! Does not even do cylinder shutdown Mike stop messing around with having so many box of tricks in the car. 2 x Ecu, external boost controller, knock and lambda amp, valcon cam controller, racelogic traction control. Sell it all and buy a Syvecs S6 which does it all! It even controls the Toyota dbw unit. Do it once and properly. I bet you find you make money also from all the bits you have.

Unfortunatly it wont help you Kim. All the upgrade does is allow the axle speed on the dyno to go about 10mph more and the dyno we used had it. What that means is in 5th gear on a 6sp setup on the dynapack you can now rev to 7990rpm instead of the dynapack standard 7790 so where some supras in the uk were making peak horsepower higher in the rev range basically we had to run them in 4th gear so that we could rev the engine to 8590.. But then the axle torque is easily exceeded on a 1000hp+cars. So we ran had to run them in 5th were it would only allow us to measure to 7790rpm, but now 7990. Your car in 5th gear maxed out the dynapack axle torque where as none of the other 1000hp cars in uk make anywhere near as much midrange torque that gets it near the 4000nm axle torque in 5th gear. With detcans that don't filter then yes manifolds is best but if you have a proper knock sensor setup then the block is the only place to have it and has to be intake side!

Check the connection of the sensor also as if it loses connection of the Ion Pump on the sensor it will read 14.8 constantly. Ryan

Fear not! we have 4bar Map sensors in stock at Syvecs but they are abit more costly at £100

Hi Keith I would suggest selling the gauges bud and then buying just the sensors which can be feed into the ecu. If you want to keep the gauges then it depends what gauges you have to wheather i can T into the sensor feed. The oil temp is a no for sure as the input loading on the Ecu which change the reading on the gauge. Ryan

Jim, Why are you posting this same thread on every car forum in the UK!! If you want compensation you are not going to get it by slating the company all over the internet as the courts im sure will see that the damage you have done to his business via all these threads will be far worse than your engine damage. Sorry to say it but you have no idea or right to bad mouth the guys until the engine has been inspected by a third party!

Syvecs has in stock but cheaper here http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=120 TPS Sensor ? Stock is fine Air temp ? Stock is fine Water temp ? Stock is fine Oil Temp- http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=125 Optional Egt - http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=175 AutoBox temp - http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=125 If you get the above fitted just run the wires down to ecu and i will wire in and then setup the following safety trips, features and warm up limps. Oil Pressure drop - Cut engine or Limp mode Fuel pressure drop on boost i.e, Faulty pump - Will trim fueling to 15% then after that put in limp mode Map Limit cut - 1ms cut if an overboost event occurs Water temp - Does not allow over 4500rpm until water temp is over 65c also if water temp goes above 110c it limps engine. Oil Temp - Does not allow over 4500rpm until oil temp is over 70c also if oil temp goes above 135c it limps engine. Knock control - constantly monitors every cylinder and reduces timing in event on knock on that cylinder, if knock control pulls more than 10degrees shuts cylinder down. If more than 4 degrees timing is pulled Engine check light is lit. Egt - If temps go over certain temp fueling is trimmed also when using TC, Antilag or launch if temp gets to hot it turns off Ryan

DONT GO BLUE! As said before having 2 blue supras in the same class will not make the car shine when it does a 6 as people will think it is the JPS car

Best to ask the dyno guy mate to check the folder. I honestly cant remember but i think you might be right as i would have to do in 5th to keep the axle torque down. In this case they would have both been done in 5th. Double check with the dyno guy and get him to send a comparison where it shows hp vs ftlb
