  1. The Jeremy Kyle show of supra adverts. Someone's obviously bitter.
  2. That's the thing swampy the m-r's are very compliant, I've had bc and I find do the Meisters a superior product. Being uk based is appealing to.
  3. I run meister r's. very good coilover for the money, and very compliant on uk roads. I would go meister r or HSD over bc, just for the pillow ball top mounts.
  4. http://bit.ly/L78y4t that's the one up at mo. My one fits fine and has weathered well. Knight racer may have stocks left of these.
  5. Trd spoiler I got off eBay. A seller in china. Was a buy now or make offer. I think I offered £175 which they accepted (they actually manufactured carbon parts). There's one on the bay now I think.
  6. Thank you for the kind words she goes in for less extensive work next month finish all the small things.
  7. Cheers bud I find them better if I'm honest, mine were pretty knackered in the end (HKS) but the Meisters are actually more compliant on our roads. Handled the track day I did fine and are easy to adjust, maintain and get replacement parts for
  8. Can't believe I never finished the thread. Better late than never This is the car with all bits bolted back on after all the work. Going for the mot (was cringing at how close that ridox bumper was to the floor) Finally home And the car at some of the shows and track day events last year
  9. Yes they do. They are the lepers of the wheel world! Thanks alot and Yes he's right mate. The laquer was very weak with a poor bond. Especially to the polished lip. My wheels had defects in the laquer after just a month on the road. Even the paint underneath was poorly done. My wheels had the paint coming off in sheets in the end. Which was a shame for such a nice looking wheel
  10. Thanks bud. It's been a bit of a marathon but it is coming together now. I'm looking forward to seeing the wheels in the natural light. I'm pleased how they have turned out. Especially after what they used to be like
  11. They are old school Works alloys I think mate
  12. First job was to get on with the painting so laid down the paint. Then as that was drying, I started rubbing down the primer on the bumper. A few hrs and arms like Popeye later it was done Then as the car was dry by now, demasked it and rolled it out the booth to do a final test fit on the bumper. Then in to the booth for painting Next up was the strut Brace feet and engine cover. And finally the wheels. They were powdercoated black as a base layer, after having them stripped and bead blasted. As Vortex r's had shocking build quality and corrosion was a plenty. So flatted down the powder coat for a base layer of black. The reason being was I was trying a new paint system from specialist paints a shadow chrome. Not very shadowed but look nice in the flesh Then a final cost of laquer This is how she sits ready for a busy day tomorrow but did manage to get the spoilers on.
  13. Thanks all. It's been a struggle but its nearly there, and ill be glad to have a non shabby car at the end ! Been prepping like crazy today. Will be spaying this afternoon
  14. No mate 800 grade will be fine for a key for the primer. And as it is black you will get away without sanding between coats, but obviously allow the paint to dry tacky before applying the next coat
