  1. Little bump for this! Not had one person to see her
  2. Nice plate, nice car - although the boot looked a bit messy!
  3. Best not tell my girlfriend... Your scored 15 out of a possible 20. You rate as: High risk promiscuity - 15 to 20 points People in this bracket will have a tendency towards excitement, novelty and risk-taking, seeking these out through high-octane activities (from skydiving to working on the trading floor) as well as meeting new people. They will seek arousal and pleasure as a result of brain chemistry: dopamine (the pleasure chemical) is released when faced by a novel or challenging situation. They might be impulsive, responding easily to external stimuli and tend to view others as play things, generally not taking life very seriously. They might also have high testosterone levels which would account for an elevated sexual drive - testosterone also makes people more determined which can explain why so many politicians and people in power have affairs.
  4. Bit of a late bump for this, I haven't advertised it over the last few months but it's time to get it gone!
  5. Still up for sale - price reduced.
  6. Thanks for the good comments... it's better looking in real life!
  7. I took this off the market for a while and have been enjoying it but I would like to see it gone now if possible! It's a reluctant sale as I love the car but I have three cars which has become unpractical and this one is at the bottom of the list in the order of favourites! Claimed 0-60 on these is 4.9 seconds, it definitely feels fast, and the top speed is limited at 155. 2006/55 plate SLK 55 AMG Registered February 2006 Cruise Control Leather and alcantara heated electric seats Bi Xenon headlamps with washers 6 months Tax 12 months MOT Pioneer Sat Nav Bluetooth phone connection Ipod connection Large 6 pot front and 4 pot rear brakes (bigger and better than the newer models) Full MB service history 43000 Miles Recent big service by MB including spark plugs, front and rear brake pads and rear brake discs. Next service is due in around 8,000 miles. This truly is a superb car for someone and a bargain in my opinion considering what was paid for it and has been spent on it in the last month! Looking for £21,000. Near offers considered...
  8. It's not good as the less informed, especially my colleagues, might think that it's me driving like a loon! I save that for out of town!
  9. Driving like a muppet through the high street. It sounded like an NA...
  10. Brazil... No matter how bad life is or how poor you are you'll always be out numbered by beautiful women at a ratio of 2:1 and the sun is more often than not shining.
  11. I always enjoyed my Civic Type R as a well handling car that doesn't cost a fortune to run. Probably not quite fast enough though and it's not great in the wet. 4WD is great for this country IMO. It's all well and good having big power and RWD but you can't drive them hard in the wet which is 1/2 of the year.
  12. When I bought my car it had a nice set of wheels with a bit of a lip on them but for some time now I have been using stock 17's which just seem to feel better!
  13. The car is a credit to it's previous owner. It's never let me down in over 2 years of almost daily driving. I'm just 10 miles out of town on the A40 Fitz, although that was a 2 hour round trip yesterday for 20 minutes shopping! Love Christmas...
  14. I was the kind bloke in Westfield Good attention to detail you have!
  15. It's not a major issue... If I could of got rid of it then it would have been a minor improvement in an otherwise happy drive. The Supra's not quiet and I wonder what it sounds like from the outside when you're sat at the lights and suddenly the revs go up, then down, then up etc. Thanks for the effort on the detailed response kj.
  16. I find I need to keep it on most of the time to avoid the screen fogging up, of course I can just keep the window open. From what you've said about it being alternator related, perhaps an upgraded alternator would mean that it doesn't need to increase the revs? It doesn't go particularly high I just don't like it jumping up suddenly when I'm sat at traffic lights etc.
  17. Does anyone know how to avoid the air con unit raising the revs? They tend to go up and down periodically when it's turned on, I don't know if thats normal or not!
  18. Has anyone had any dealings with these people? They seem to have a lot of cars appear to look quite nice but they are a long way for me to travel to find out!
  19. Looks very nice. If you had of dyed the carpet black that would of finished it off nicely - imo.
  20. No that was me, no manky yellow lights here I was actually heading to GX, I'd gone up the motorway to avoid some of the chaos on the A40 that morning!
  21. Perhaps you should knock up a photoshopped Fast Car or Max Power magazine feature and tell everyone you spent a million on the car. You car looks way better than this one by the way! I am in no way saying that the car in this thread has a photoshopped magazine feature. I would say that I am surprised the previous owner couldn't find space with the "100k" to put a manual gearbox or at least a decent steering wheel.
  22. I love this car... I told myself just yesterday I have to stop looking at it! (saw it a while ago) Anyone want to buy a nice silver auto tt?
