  1. Unfort the Os Giken Clutches aren't design for slipping and hard launches... the amount of heat that will be generated whilst launching will simply destroy them... I have allot of friends that drag race.. and people with these clutches suffer the same problem... IF your going to drag race why not get a clutch designed for it.. .OS Giken are only really a high power/Torque clutch designed for not slipping and for the street.
  2. I was having a look at my fuel rail to determine injector sizea.. looks like they are red ones.. Has anyone a chart of colours that match injector cc sizes?

  6. ok, further info.... everytime i press the clutch in the car wants to cut out and it makes a high pitched squeeling noise? could this be the bearing.?
  7. It was an overnight thing.. i=it squeels when its in neutral and when you press the clutch in the engine wants to cut out and stall umless u give it allot of rpm..
  8. its when i just started it up... and there is was a very high piutch squealing noise... and no fuel pressure reading...

  10. Yes the car idles and is fine... call my a dumbo where is the resovoir for the clutch fluid... im reading no fuel pressure but the car revs fine etc.... could this be a hose that split and blown off?

Feels like my clutch cable has gone but im not too sure it is... ieverytime i depress the clutch it stalls the car.. and cant get it into gear... allso the fuel pressure gauge has stopped working.. i was getting a high pitched noise... but thats now gone.. could this be a vaccum problem somewhere?

Its not a massive job what needs changed to be honest.. the car runs very well... its just the light to part throttle table that need leaning out as the afr's are indicating between 11.7 to 12.6 on light to partial load... little bit rich to me... so thats really it.. WOT is absoloutly superb... no lean spots through out the range at all
  14. Any more than standard boost they tend to knock like a woodpecker and people that dont know what they are doing buy them turn up the boost and kaboom.
  15. hmmm a paper towel is stronger than there drivetrain.... they reguarly blow transfer box's and gearbox syncro's.... tuning them is a black art as well...

  17. Im taking my car to TDI north this week... But i wanted to know if there is anyone better... Im just a little cautious as ive heard some bad story's about dodgy mappers recently... What on Optimax would be a good for a built engine pressure wize on a t51r with of course all the right supporting mods??
  18. nothing i guess. speed wise there isnt much that could compare... everything else that is highly tuned seems to drop to bits where as a supra wouldn't
  19. Very true im not.. just want to make sure my map is efficent... and not flooding my engine with fuel it dosent need... Def not into Borewash City... I knew i guy once who thought adding as much fuel as possible to his engine thought it would make it faster... 4000 miles later rebuild time

  21. I guess im just getting used to supra owndership;) so i guess 280 to 300 per tank is about right on a run ?
  22. Thanks Daryl.. I darent try it on any higher than 1.6 bar, it nearly ripped my head off Going to a dyno to get it checked over soon.. and get the partial/light load afr's adjusted to give me some better economy.. on cruise i get 20 to 21 mpg at best...

All, My AEM Wideband has been fitted.. and i did a few spirted WOT runs on the way home at various boost settings.. .i seem to be getting 10.8 to 11.0 at 1.6 bar in 4th gear all the way so im pleased that i seem to have plenty of fuel for that boost pressure, maybe even more.... But looking at my afr's at cruise strikes a little concern... it seems to be 12.3 to 12.7 at very light load.and a touch of the throttle i.e 15 to 20 per cent sends the afrs to low 12's/ high 11's at 2 to 3000 rpm I guess the hks f-con pro gold needs tweeking.. Does anyone know any trust worthy mappers??? who supports these in the uk
