All... I thought i would do an experiment and see what the worst mpg i could achieve on the road.. Well I did 65 miles of very sprited driving...nearly all 3 to 5 WOT runs... I achieved 4.1 miles per gallon... Can't help but love it..

Were you running nitrous on this???? Sounds like a symptom of what N20 can cause on a stock block

30 to the gallon off boost... oh my!!! thats incredible.

I made the unfortunate decision once of buying one of these and yes they do tend to go wrong.. not easy to tune at all.. and gearbox's clutches, transfer box's etc tend to go wrong allot of the time. i suppose the tt's do have awd....

Is there any? does it really lower egt's and det? is there any long term danmage? bu injecting water/methanol in the inlet manifold? Possiblly i might put it in if its proven to be beneficial.

Hi Guys, I've been told my stock inlet manifold will become a restriction when i go for big no's 700 hp plus... Is there anyone that does a less restrictive one?

Ambient temp was 26.5 c AIT was 18.2 C

around the 720 to 750 mark then we go from 1.6 upwards on race fuel...

All, had my aem fitted today, Dan did a great job.... I was hitting 525hp at 0.9 bar and 650hp at 1.3... I will scan the dyno sheet in when i get time.... I seem to have a problem with an air leak or my boost controller is fecked. Going back on the 2nd of July to get a new controller sorted and the air leak fixed if there is one as well as a can of race gas. I would like to thank Dan for doing a mega good job on mapping im now getting over 30 mpg on the motorway as well as excellent off boost running. Chris Wilson before hand did an excellent job of fitting a new os giken triple plate and putitng new fuel filter, sorting the supsenson on my car etc etc.. Heres the dyno pull with the 650hp run... .Watch it through until the end wont you now... Im hoping to go for 1.6 on pump gas which Dan said is achievable as i have a built bottom end and the fueling, cams etc to support that.. Duty cycle was arounf 63 per cent on the 650ps run.... so we will see what my next trip gets... i will try go for 1.8 to 1.9 bar on race fuel.. det pending

Thanks mate... and thats the sort of mapper i like doing business with.... im looking forward to seeing results... im intending to run my boost control from the aem for starts and yes a 2 step for affect.. maybe flames spitting out of the exhaust on the overun (a big kid i know)

indeed im sure dan will do a great job.. I've heard of plenty of cowboy mappers.. its only going to be a fast road car nothing else really...

Just whilst im thinking about it is there any nifty features on the ecu that will help with t51r along? 2 step? antilag? I have a heavy spec on mine including a fuel system which should be able to cope with the t51r's capacity... etc etc... so my engine is prepared for it..such as cams, oil cooler etc etc...

why bother checking on these cars..?????

Looks to me like it has had some sort of contamination.. i guess fuel? too much of it?

It all depends what u look for..l they are a good fast road turbo.. but yes laggy to a degree... but with the right tune. they can be very streetable if you''ve got enough road daryl, your more than welcome to go out in mine too

At the end of the day... you need to get something design for its specific purpose.. the more you abuse it the less life it will have... Its the same theory with engines...
