Im sorry to hear about this Jon, Have u got the AEM software on your Laptop??? If so when it was running did you connect to it? i know it automatically stores the current working map on your laptop... If you have this you could try and reload it onto the ECU. Have you allso tested the voltage of the MAP Sensor? My car too won't be at JAE as there has been one or two unforseen delays :-(

It looks like.... my car won't be ready for JAE (Surprise Surprise) .... And ill be along in my peugeot 307.. As i was planning to go in convoy with the guys from the North West and i wont be now... Does anyone know the address so i can punch it in to Sat Nav?

Isn't it lucky i have an aftermarket fuel tank.. Thats the particular pump i have in mine. :-)

Agreed, I just think that in this case for the big power buys that surely investing in a bigger pump that can handle high pressure/flow rates would be allot less complicated than going with twins...

Are twin pumps the answer?? This surely add's to the complicaton of things? Why not just fit one big pump to cope with it all?

I guess thats why his shims may have been nitrated... I believe if high lift cams come on fierce it tends to soften the stock coating on stock shims (i.e breaks it down) The audible effects i believe is the famous ticking noise coming from the head....

Well done Paul and yes it is!!!! Hence the shim heads have been coated in this due to the cam characteristics on the car... and the way its been set-up...
