  2. Errm no... will run at at 1.0 bar on the street most of the time... 575hp is allot for the street.... at 1.4 if some porsche pisses me off i guess.
  3. Looking forward to my drive home thats for sure.....
  4. News Just in... at 1.4 Bar 712hp... Thats enough.. will be back later with graphs to support....
  5. Point took... 2nd is never that bad for me.... but its very brutal and lasts about all of a second on boost... i guess 3rd is when u get going.
  6. Hiya bud, Have you had a new geo setup on your suspension, i got this done on mine and it made the world of difference.... before i was going sideways like a wetfish but now it stays in a straight line and i have allot more grip... I find even at 650 hp my power is allot more controllable but i am using a bigger turbo than you.. all the same.. maybe a suspension geo may help?
  7. It all depends what you want, its nothing too special to be honest but it does the job and thats it..... Theres lots better out there.... with some of the more expensive ones you can have hours of playtime...
  8. Yeah, it has an off (wastegate spring pressure) and a low and hight boost setting.. all easy to swich over....
  9. Ill go with Homer on that one, when i had my egt problem, we riched up my WOT fueling to 10.7 and u could feel the difference immediatly.. felt like someone had put the handbrake on.
  10. yeah ive got one in mine now.. once you get the hang of it.. its easy to use, seems to hold boost pretty well... you can read it in bar or psi... and has the usual scramble boost feaures etc....
  11. awww ickle puddy tats... i love em.. well done mate.
  12. Would be very interested to know your results jon.. whos mapping it?
  13. Wll find out the rwhp figures tommorow, but i know the flywheel correction figure is conservative.. Full boost is arround 4200 1.6 is prob max im going to run with WI and Race fuel 116 Oct... Will keep u all posted tommorow with graphs to prove
  14. Don't hold back, I need some healthy competition.....:D
  15. Would be interested to see how mine would compared to yours when im running race fuel...
  16. Better get ordering that Race Fuel:d:d
  17. Will get the graphs up mate... and the rwhp figure... i know the fwhp figure is a very conservative correction figure...
  18. I will upload the proof tommorow night along with some even better results i hope...
  19. Lets hope so.. we will see.. never say never... 575 at one bar is a good start don't you think
  20. :dFolks. Head is back on and car running sweet:- there has been literally an hours worth of mapping and ive had some verbal results on the phone. 0.8 bar - 535fwhp 1.0 bar - 575fwhp as soon as i have the prinouts and final boost maps tommorow i will post with evidence looking to run 1.4 bar on pump fuel and 1.6 on race... Should be fun...
  21. Willl be interested to see this one in the uk.... My car is at a dyno today running some race gas.. .so we will see what we can get it to produce.
  22. I go with Mike on this one,... e-manage will do the job nicely... make sure you get it set up properly though... if you really strapped u could do ith with a s-afc as well
  23. The perfect afr is meant to be between 11.5 to 11.7 but this is so dependant on your setup.. its like how long is a piece of string... get on egt gauge and afr gauge, these are your tuning bible... boost level is dependant on turbo... as each different type of turbo flows differently.... Timing retard is dependant on allot of things.. that again is "how long is a piece of string"
  24. Interesting, Please keep us informed how u get on with methanol... I have my suspicions on what it does to Lambda.. but i'd like to be proved wrong....
