  1. You really are serious about all this .... Won't be long before its T6 Manifold and Drag Turbo time
  2. Surely this thread is a Joke?
  3. With all this weight saving, Can you feel any difference in hard pulls on the street?
  4. You can say that mate Did you ever go in the Birdcage when it was open
  5. Its payday for most in Leeds.. It will be swimming with Eye Candy trust me Might even bump into you later as I'm out with my mates... You won't go far wrong on Greek Street if it's women your after. The living room has some interesting sites
  6. Looks awesome mate Can't wait to see it driven in anger when it is all tuned and ready to go
  7. I just dont want to take the risk , I like my car working .... And there is too many unknown's with my setup which i will be getting sorted soon...and besides like i've said Drag racing is not my thing....
  8. Thats interesting...Ive done maybe 20 or 30 runs at 195 leptons plus now on a private track and not seen that on my lights!!!
  9. Could be interested but i've not enough power really to compete properly
  10. Yep im a big pussy ha having seen what happened to Mark Newman's Prop I don't fancy that happening to mine .. When is Thunder Road this year? If it's on will we get a decent piece of strip as i remember last years wasn't too good
  11. I will be there but watching only..!!!! Not managed to get my Carbon Prop on in time and a drag set up ... To be honest I want my car for 1 mile events etc... So be good to see you guys run...
  12. I'm from Leeds, All depends on what your into Kev .. Purple Door is ok for Strippers ... But theres The light, Greek Street, Call Lane.. (If you like em young).... Normally Leeds is a good night though
  13. I need this for my car, premium version only
  14. Haha Cant wait to see this beast run at Suprapod King of the track
  15. Yes please too Just need to figure out where i could mount it in my very busy dash
  16. I agree with that, My mate has one, 4 months down the line after ownership the turbo's went, You have to Pull the engine to get to them... His bill was over 4k just for the turbo's.. Then he started to have llot of electrical issues with it too.. Very expensive to run and maintain.. On a stock setup he was averaging between 8-15 mpg
  17. Going back to the old skool mate? I have a full set of TRD Clocks in mine and love them
  18. Yeah I think so... but i am the way of thinking that anything more than a 8,500 rpm limit is asking for trouble in the long term... I'm all for pushing the boundries of our engines... but I have visions of bits of destroyed rods coming out of the sump after a long highway pull...
  19. For the size of the turbo it ain't laggy and 3rd gear pull seems excellent.... No the QSV ain't working yet... So we will see what happens when we do get it working.. Should help to be honest....I'm not too fussed about low end power either.. I've built it really for high end pulls and top speed events...
  20. You get full boost around 5,500 in top gear Makes full boost in 2nd gear just.... To be honest its more of a top end car really.....Still seems very driveable on the street....
  21. Tend to agree, We will see what a built race head does.... and see if i can get my QSV working...or not..... Reving too high does make me feel nervous I must admit.
  22. My car really won't be going down the drag strip, Just want a reasonably quick street car which will be good for mile events and fast road driving..
  23. Point taken... It currently is at 8,200 rpm...Maybe arround 8,500 rpm is it's limits really..... Shame really as the Turbo comes in hard at high RPM...
