  1. Allready ordered my next turbo for the summer so should hopefully make some better numbers.
  2. Cheers mate.... Ryans comments were that they use very little fuel on cold start and idle and drives real nice off boost as well.....
  3. Update : - Made 680 at the hubs at TDI which i think works out at 770hp at 1.7 bar... Couldn't go any further due to wastegate spring issue. All in all went quite well, Apparantly the ID 2000s are awesome Injectors. Ryan made a comment that he thought the engine had allot more potential and could easily run up to 2.4 bar on a bigger turbo. Will look at upgrading to some sort of high end billet in the summer and proper go for it. Im sure 770 will be nice enough for now. Once i know more on where peak torque is etc and what torque its producing i or Jurgen/Ryan will update. Thanks to all the guys efforts so far...
  4. Apparantly Ryans got the idle and low rpm allot better now after some work... The cold start is perfect (Like stock) The only issue is they flood the engine when its cold if you stall it
  5. Im deffo sure it would beat Jamesy in the worst fuel consumption ever with the ID2000's and Three fuel pumps on the Job...It used over 100 quid to get back to Oxford from Newcastle on cruise
  6. Yep its next Thursday at TDI.... No point in SRR as there is a slight issue with my rear being too low and besides on R888's it will probably slip on the DYNO... As soon as I get numbers i will shout out..
  7. Car is with Ryan now, I'll have a chat with him and see if its something he could get done whilst he has the car
  8. Re the ID2000cc Injectors, Spoke to Ryan...Fun and games with the idle and running up to 1,500rpm... Can't get it running like stock I'm afriad..... Jamie, I think you'll have the same Issue
  9. I know what your saying...its 3.5 reducer...I am concerned about flow.. see when it starts to become an issue on the dyno.. and think about the next steps then...
  10. My plans are. 1. Car finished with new paintwork. 2. Ryan to take away and map it on from the 11th Jan to 17th Jan. 3. Car back to jurgens for window tints and alarm 4. ICE setup to have finishing touches 5. To Scare all the Grannies all summer with my BL Exhaust 6. Wait until the Turbo blows up and get a bigger one. 7. Try not to blow my engine up 8. Enjoy it as much as i Can
  11. That damn rad pipe Jurgen I will leave it in your capable hands to see if you think it would look better in black Jamie, Ill have a word with ryan and see when it goes to SRR and TDI and let you know Hopefully the numbers will be ok ...
  12. Really happy on progress Im wondering on how she will do on mapping day Whatever it is .. im sure she will be great fun to drive Thanks Jurgen and Co for all the hard work
  13. Should be arround later on this week..fri or sat..will have to check with ryan
  14. Little Update IT's Alive Ryan with Jurgen managed to get it fired up, Theres some sort of wiring issue with the TPS and MAF which Ryan will sort out next week when he comes to collect it for mapping On Wednesday (weather permitting)... So we will see what the car does at SRR and TDI..... Thanks for all involved with all the hard work they've put into the car.... Jurgens team especially
  15. I personally would like to see this resolved... As Ive still not heard about the Fedex Claim or any feedback from boostlogic for the quality of my exhaust.... This is holding up my project somewhat....
  16. Pretty sure I ordered ID 2,200cc's will be annoyed if there not TBH
  17. Looking good.... Ryan - Is the base map for 2,200 cc Injectors... Will it need much fuel correction to get it to idle properly and read some sort of sensiblish reading for the MOT?
  18. Unfort not I've chased MVP 5 times and only heard they were chasing boost logic for a complaint over the quality and fedex for a damage claim. Also I've been waiting 3 months for a refund on three fuel pumps I sent back. I'm not a happy man at all at the moment and it's a matter of principle not so much the cost. The last two emails sent to MVP have been ignored.
  19. Having two grown up daughters myself kind of worries me about doing these events in not ideal conditions..... Seeing some of the fatatalities in the past on here we all have to be careful..... God I am sounding old
  20. I bet it wasn't as good as the green rover i went from Cheshire to Newcastle on when the white Rx7 popped
  21. Think your right.. I would say 90 per cent of the time I wont be running full boost to be honest.... just for play time.. and lets face it with winter coming up there wont be much of that.....
  22. Im worried about my turbo now Nothing i can do about it now lets see how long it lasts.. Gutted for the guys today..
  23. Just ordered these Got to be better than the stock one...looks wise for sure...
