  2. Yes ...engine overhaul kit includes the HG you have in your list plus loads of other stuff....worth checking out!!
  3. Ash..I was quoted last week full engine rebuild kit 196+vat at Toyota.....this inc head gasket etc.....check with EPC for list Dave S
  4. I've read somewhere maybe EPC that the head bolts are not to be re-used.....so I bought ARP studs/ rod bolts from US for the 2jz rebuild Dave S
  5. I could just connect up the fuel rail in the empty engine bay with 12v to the pump...I have a pressure gauge on the reg. and see if it leaks....I'm most concerned about the seals to the manifold runners....top seals fit fine.
  6. It's my first attempt at building a car/engine.......don't want to risk 550's....should be able to use the original clamps

Is anybody running the Blitz 850cc Hi impedance side feed injectors...?? they're supposed to be a direct fit.....I'm just want to make sure I fit them properly with the right o rings etc. Is there a way of testing the rail for leaks without fitting it back to the engine/manifold while the head/block is away being 'done' ?? cheers Dave S 95TT in boxes in even more pieces than when I bought it!!!
  8. 1jz is same setup as 2jz, MAP, identical coil/plug etc....i did the install of the e-manage myself....looking forward to extending the install to include wideband o2 and egt as the e01 has datalogging capabilities...
  9. Will be transferring the E-manage/E01 to the Mkiv in the new year Terry...it ran well on the 1jz.....

  11. I read from that article that anything more than 0v to less than 5v is then 'Normal'. AAAAAH.....this I take it is why a Wide Band O2 sensor is used to tune ,it must give a linear reading. I'm using the Greddy E-01 to monitor the O2 , A/F etc I think a rolling road visit is on the cards cheers Dave
  12. Does anyone know what the stock O2 sensor voltages correspond to? eg when its lean / rich thanks Dave
  13. I did 2 runs in the 1JZ almost identical @ boost 12psi leaving the auto in D 14.7 @ 97.2mph now I'll start playing with the E-manage and E-01!!! good to meet you all.. shame I was the only MKIII Dave S
  14. Mine does the almost the same....I found the most likely cause to be condensation on the coil packs....and never found any way to stop it
  15. I'm looking for information on the F-Con V Pro . manual ? etc anyone using this box of tricks cheers Dave
