  1. Its new rings and bores.....will mineral oil cause any damage to the turbo.... also fully UN-mapped...will it be ok to start with someone elses fuel map on a similar setup cheeers Dave s
  2. I'm almost at the stage of breaking-in my 'built ' engine and in need of the best proceedure for doing this.....complications will be e-manage,bigger injectors and single turbo new as well.... cheers Dave S

  4. No...I've had the car 18 months and the guy who did the bodywork had it for about the same...
  5. After reading the manuals Merckx kindly sent me I kept re-arming it... hopefully it will be OK using the correct button....the car was bought with bare shell from the back seat forwards and all the bits in boxes...amidst the rats nest of wires was the AI606 which some reconnecting had to done......I was expecting some problems....dying to fire up my new engine!! I'm going to give the keyfob another try tomorrow cheeers Dave S

  7. this is the Supra I bought in 'boxes' 18 months ago and painfully rebuilt..nearly!!..nightmare sometimes as I didnt take it apart....so I connected a battery for the first time and the alarm went off....I dont know how to disable it...... cheeers Dave S
  8. Hi...connected the battery for the first time today and all hell broke loose....theres an AI606 alarm fitted....I have the keyfob but no codes etc.....anyone got a USER manual or tell me how to disable the damn thing......many thanks.... Dave S

  11. i'm not refitting the aircon system after the rebuild ....will accessory belt now be too long ....? if thats the case anyone know of a belt to fit cheeers Dave

  18. where do the dump pipe(s) to atmosphere end up ??
  19. I'm about to fabricate my downpipes ....what are the pros and cons of the dump tube from the wastegates going into the downpipe... or not?? as its quite a bit more work .. cheeers Dave S

  22. Just got back from the machine shop the head and block with Carrillo rods and Wiseco pistons fitted...v.similar to the JE but with much shorter skirt! I'll have the block here till Friday if you want to have a look Paul...... Dave

I didnt complete the install of the egt and O2 sensor in the MKIII 1JZ ...I then bought the MKIV and removed everything.....and now I'm up to my elbows in pistons and rods etc.....so it'll be a while before it goes back in.....but it did seem to do what it said on the tin...if it turns out as good as Mohd 's I'll be very happy!!
  24. i had it mounted on the bulkhead.....but it was connected to the E01 boost controller then to E-manage.It uses another map page once to go past the stock sensor. You can map boost ignition timing for example....coupled with EGT and wideband O2 its a great introduction to this black art without high cost . Mohd is the top dude in the US for E-manage.....and runs the forum.
